Like quite a few people in the comments section, my theory-unlikely as it is-is that the Black Flame is actually going to be a Black Lantern version of Firestorm. For those who don't follow Green Lantern comics, the Black Lanterns are undead heroes and villains in the DCU. That could explain why his fire looks weird, and the title of episodes 12-14. The Black Lanterns are also powered by emotions, so the whole feeding off grief could tie into that as well. "Death Rises" could totally be a Black Lantern reference, since that's literally what they do.

Exactly! Cecile seems to be more present in Barry’s life than his wife, same as Caitlin/Frost,Why is Iris separated from everyone else? Don’t get me wrong, she doesn’t need to be a permanent fixture at StarLabs either, that went on before but now Cecile and Allegra are always there! Cecile is like a permanent annoying mind reader! No feelings will be kept private with her around! No thanks! Where are Cecile’s 2 daughters? Will they ever bond with there half sister and brother Iris and Wally? The Family love and bonding has really left the show.I’d really like to see it come back, even if it is a Super Hero show, They made it work before and that was one of the things that made it different and special to watch.News flash! It’s okay not to see Cecile in every episode,and she doesn’t need a big scene every time!😊❤️

this episode they just try to make chuck seem like a useful character, however he is useless and all he does is the brain work which most of the time Barry tells him what to do.... and it makes zero sense of how a fire got out of the bottle and in a HUMAN head, humans are weak compared to metas that's what the show is about.... so how are you supposed to make the human seem powerful, hmmm maybe get him to deny his father and that will put out the fire around the entire building. terrible show

Nah this episode did exactly the opposite of what you said. This is one of Chester’s best episodes since he was introduced and actually enjoyed his acting performance. I have no problem with them wanting to make him a more likable character

they literally did bring in new characters and thats the problem, team flash should only consist of barry chester frost caitlin, now that ciscos gone chester takes his place, frost is the secondary metahuman and caitlin is the doctor, barrys the flash, more unnecessary characters is what makes the show get worse
