I am just so happy to see Soori get his flowers(acknowledgement) as an artist, he always takes a character centric approach to all his roles and has been a firm favorite in our home. The late Vivek Sir, Sathyaraj, Santhanam, Soori, Pasupathi, Dhanush and GVPrakash, Sivakarthikeyan and Manikandan are also some of my favorites for the same reason (not gonna talk about the greats/older super Og artists) it's their love of cinema, character and story, dedication to give all for the role. The South "regional goes global" from Bharati Raja, Bala, Soorya, Vikram, etc, once anomalies now get star rating, celebrated being envied and even Bolly wants to go there, as a South Indian, I love to see it. I ate every frame of Viduthulai, waiting for part 2 with bated breathe and Garuda is going to be a feast.
