Spoiler Block. Disappointed. Is EDG really overrated?? I don't know what happened to them, but they really fell apart after winning the first map against GENG in Madrid. I think the most rounds they've won since then is 6. Thought Heretics 2-0 would take it, but this was an embarrassing loss for EDG. Incredibly slow and poor decision making.

@@speedforce8970FPX was even very close to taking GenG down, who is seemingly the new final boss now. The biggest reason is that EDG has a poor coach team and poor igl, plus they didn’t get to play any games before this while TH got to practice their tactics and build momentum.

Haodong and nobody kinda threw their game. Haodong keeps making little adjustments and peeks that gets him killed and they move too slowly on the split retake for the last round. They should have went faster, not wait inside the smoke.

Seriously I think FPX is stronger than EDG. This is also true when you look at the match results of the Heretics of both teams, FPX's very unique composition and deep attacker side strategy (3 controllers) is very appealing to watch, and many teams are struggling to respond to it. What about EDG?? They have a particularly simple composition and no deep strategy, relying too much on individual hero play. There's no way they can win this way. They will face PRX in the lower division. I don't know what to expect, but based on today's game, I don't think EDG has a chance to beat PRX.

It's gaining popularity in China but I don't think the feel of this game can attract serious care of the mass from Asia because idk it feels very Westernized especially the movement, gun skins, mechanics are somewhat dull and sluggish. I and my friends play it often but it just doesn't click nor we feel connected to the game. Asia will never catch up.

PRX has already reached finals multiple times and Zeta and DRX have reached third multiple times. Valorant is the second most played games in internet cafes after league of legends in Korea. If Asia doesn't connect with Valorant, then there are actually 0 shooters that Asia can play. We are blessed that there is a shooter that Asia, and especially south east Asia, has a shooter that we are remotely competitive in because CS GO is dead there. League of legends is dead in SEA too. You can argue that Korea and China are dominating, but those guys are different from us Sea people. In fact, they probably don't even like us. If you are SEA. Valorant will be the only computer game that our region can do well in

It’s mind blowing how bad EDG’s coach team and igling are. When other teams default they gather info, take map control, maybe get a pick or two etc. when EDG default, they just sit outside of a site and wait for the util from TH. No info, no map control, not even someone who lurks. Strategy wise prolly worse than most of puggers in ranked games. Well deserved L and definitely overrated. FPX is the only worthy CN team.
