Anyway I worked for several days.
This theme is such an intense rock music, so it was next to impossible.
The instruments such as Horns, violins, trumpets, that characterize Gen 4 songs are what make us feel nostalgically DPPt-like, but they are despairingly unfit for rock grooves. So I gave up making you feel nostalgic by sounds, but I made a decision to create kinda nostalgia by quoting other songs' phrases (Lake Trio&Team Rocket Hideout) ーjust same as in demixing Sada&Turo I utilized Red/Lance's theme.(That was also impossible haha)
I could recreate in a way like the original consistently using Guitars and violent Drums, but that is simply backward compatible in sound quality, so I managed to make it have some originality by changing a part of the melody, add several harmonizing parts that the original doesn't have...
This was definitely the most difficult and I'll never do something more demanding.
I hope Pokémon OST won't become more complicated.
At any rate I feel happy to share this.
Don't say the grunts are apparently Team Galactic...
