Andy, remember the time I brought my bass boat to you 3 days before the Bassmaster Open with a bad trim system..... and an hour and change later you had me running with a brand new trim?? Well I remember it, that's why you and Team Marine Kick Ass. Thanks for that. Great video on the Charge. Answered a few questions I had.

It's only useful during long runs typically in AM when batteries are full, and PM when you dont need batteries anymore. Short runs on most outboard alternators only push 35 amp at full speed. That means you'd have to drive around for nearly 3hrs to charge a 100ah battery. 35amp in an hour is only .583amp/minute. I also think cycle life of batteries is being neglected, constantly charging, and draining charges from one battery to the other and back again is adding cycles to your battery shortening its life.

I'd love to have a video showing the Suzuki 250SS, their advantages over other brands and why it would be a good choice for a re-power. Also, if you run one on the Champ, a video on getting it propped correctly would be an excellent video as the Suzuki's can be somewhat challenging to prop correctly.

With the prices of accessories, how long before the manufacturers price everyone, but the rich, out of fishing?

How much boat speed will I lose if I install two power poles estimate?

Well it depends on a could different factors but probably 1-2 mph

Does any other company have something similar? It's expensive compared to other chargers

Not really,I looked last spring.I went with LifePO4 batteries and this one seemed most logical.Takes up very little space and does not get all that warm when charging.This one is more flexible than others,I have a single 24v battery for trolling motor.Be interesting what software upgrades they do in the future,such as instant temp readout at charging leads.But it will not charge LifePO4 batteries below 32F,which is good. A little pricy,but it is very good at what it does.
