This has to be the best spring game I’ve seen. Competition on both sides on the ball. Offense lol solid, Defense looks good. As an Ohio State fan I think Oregon is going to beat us. This team is elite

The most impressive play didn’t even involve a player with the ball. @ 9:15, watch Luke Moga come out of nowhere and outrun everyone in his attempt to shield Gibbons from getting caught from behind on his touchdown run. That kid has got some speed!!! I was at the game and I saw him 10 yards back watching the play unfold, when he realized the RB reversed course and he needed blockers to shield his backside, he took off and shot past everyone!! It was like they were all standing. You can see at the very end of the run his speed. Impressive

@@JC-wj5os yep and exactly, he’s good and we’re favored for a few DBs in the transfer portal also. Our young LBs have reportedly developed really well, as well as have enough speed in pass coverage. We’ll do well in run support, especially with the new DT addition from Michigan State. As long as we don’t give anything up deep in the passing game vs good passing teams, we’ll have favorable matchups.

He played late but I think he looks pretty good for the position he's in. Hopefully he can get a mold to fit a bit better for the ducks

@@wordsofwiz16 It was his comfort level that caught my attention, as well as his speed. I realize he didn’t play till the 3rd quarter, but he never hesitated, or looked confused. He knew exactly what he was looking for, and when he didn’t see the progressions, he ran the ball for positive gains. I’ll take that instead of taking sacks while waiting for a play to develop. He brings a dimension that is very difficult for defenses to defend. He reminds me of a young Mariota. He’ll redshirt this year, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him challenge for the starting spot next year.

A proper evaluation is to first understand that the offensive play calls were straight vanilla. Dan never shows his hand so he’s not going allow his OC to open the book and reveal plays to future opponents.

I know play calls were vanilla and all, but defense looks staunch. They looked like they are big and fast. The speed at which they got to the QB time and time again, hopefully QBs were just having a bad day, but they didnt look good at all, I'm sure theyll be better under real pressure, Cant wait to see this team play

Let me guess, B10 fan bringing their PAC12 plays after my bedtime so I view the spring game through the 2016 narrative that Oregon is weak. In your defense, it's hard to get a sense of player size from a TV, but these players are all huge. Oregon is going to own the line of scrimmage against everyone not named Ohio State or Michigan in the B1G next year.
