she was but Kiawentiio in her interviews is alot more like cartoon Katara than what we saw in season 1, not saying its an L though since they did say their making their own rendition of their respective characters, but i still preferred cartoon Katara's personality. This is what I hoped Katara was portrayed in live-action… She lost her feistiness and “little bit” of temper in it. Now, either she was silent or emotionless when speaking 🥲

You just cant animate and choreograph bending the same way in live action. The scale and density of the water animated is leagues more satisfying.

I like how katara would practice firebending much easier since shes that agressive and hot minded But with waterbending, she has to work on her anger issue and learn to calm her mind down

Katara defeats Ming Hua without a doubt, Ming Hua will be fast and dangerous but Katara is agile, powerful, precise, strong, has better IQ in battle, is more versatile, best defense and attack, she is a healer and bloodbender.
