oh my god. i'm thai and whenever i tell people they think i'm from Taiwan. but then i have to explain that Thai people are from Thailand and people from Taiwan are Taiwanese. for some reason it made me feel good to see that moment happen to someone other than me.

@Mike Sullivan A reference to some South American prisons, notably San Pedro in Bolivia, hosting 'tours' of their facilities where outsiders can enter and explore the societies that have formed in the prisons. People who have entered speak of experiences surrounded by drugs, basically, which is what I assume Ron Burgundy is referencing. The book 'Marching Powder' by Rusty Young is an interesting read into one man's experience in San Pedro if you want to know more.

I'm not american, and I don't know anything about Will Ferrell or the movie he was promoting here. Although, I have watched some other Conan videos with him. Up until the end of the video, I actually had no idea Will Ferrell was Ron Burgundy. I thought Ron was a legitimate funny news-caster. Reading the comments made me search for the link between Will and Ron. I still can't believe it's Will. Well played, Will Ferrell.

imrickjamesbeeoch they show a picture of him as a baby 20 sek after he said that. if everything he said is completely random this could not happen. i know that he doesnt have a script in his shows/movies and just talks, but here in this show there are some points he will address during the show and based on that they can plan a joke.
