He reminds me of when I was on my way to summer camp and my dad called saying my dog ate my hamster, and he buried my hamster in the backyard. I asked how he could bury it if my dog ate it: "Well, he didn't eat *all* of it"

Oh yeah, our dog got into the bunny cage when I was a kid and ate all the bunnies. I think my dad killed the dog or gave it away after that because we never seen him again.

The day the Challenger shuttle blew up, we were sent home early from school. When I got home, Take on Me by A-Ha was playing on the television. To this day, every time I hear that song I think of that day and it makes me sad.

I saw a raccoon casually pick up a live mouse with no hesitation and eat it like a hotdog. I also had the same experience as Conan but with a stray cat and baby rabbit legs...well, more like baby rabbit "pants"...eight pairs.

This reminded me of my weiner dog and boxer who at a full nest of baby rabbits about a month ago, I looked out back through the window and saw my boxer tossing something to himself and went to check to find it was the back half of a baby rabbit. I didn't tell my mom though because she was traumatized a few days earlier when my weiner dog Dave Franco brought in a dead baby rabbit like it was a gift for my mom. I ended up finding about 7 dead baby rabbit and never told her in fear she would have a panic attack

Oof. I can relate, honestly. It's how I felt when my photo wasn't chosen for the cardboard cutout audience for the Largo theater shows. Amazing shows, admirable to keep that going. But now when I watch them. Bam. Duck feet toothpicks. Anyway. Say hey to Andy for me.

um so ...Conan are there any cool stories about Jarod Miller's visits to the show??.... I just watched the episode where he brought in the Kangaroo ..you know the one where you picked Jarod up like a 4 year old kid 😂😂😂 to get him to a safe spot from the attacking Kangaroo.. 😂😂😂.. ( I remember watching it live "in the yeeeeear two thousaaaaand" ) 😂😂😂.. you should have him as a guest on the podcast... you know remenice about some of the funniest backstage stories that we didnt get to see on the shows with Jarod as the guest ... bet you you wont hear the end of Matt's and Sona's laughter that day 😂😂😂

I saved a raccoon from a dumpster by placing a long branch down into the dumpster, so it could climb up and run out. It was the middle of January in the Midwest at a Scout Camp, so maybe another troop would be in one or two weeks. My Dad was saying, don't do this/I wouldn't mess with it.. That raccoon climbed the branch, got to the top of the dumpster, hissed like the devil and leapt off the side towards us. I grew up in a Midwest family where farming and hunting was expected and inescapable duty. No animal has ever seemed that pissed about getting rescued or had the look of "I willf you up" like that raccoon. One of the few times, I thought- Yeah, maybe let nature take its course sometimes. I would,say no worries, it's been 18-19 years, it's dead, right? Yet, Sometimes hate can keep a demon eyed devil bastard alive, longer than science or religion can explain.. It might still be out there.. Just waiting, for somebody to care about it's predicament and well-being... "Spooky noises" That raccoon can kiss my ass tho, seriously. Rabies infested shithead.

Ya want my campfire story? We paid 600$ for a 10-yr old oak tree. Birds found it immediately. It was the only tall tree in our new neighborhood. My husband had a stroke in May of 2020. I called 911, I settled him, I situated him, I spent 48hrs in the hospital with him, and then I went home to sleep and take care of the dogs -- who'd gone crazy, were starving, and shat the house. When I finally regained control of life, I heard a terrible squeaking on the patio. I went outside, totally tired and depressed and not up to it. Apparently, a cat had climbed into our tree and eaten a bunch of morning dove hatchlings. Fine. Whatever. Then I found the last one. Wings and feet gone. Barely clinging to life. My husband was potentially dying in a bed. I didn't know what to do. I'm no psycho, but I pinched it's tiny head off. Put it out of his misery, cursed the cat, washed my hands, and went to sleep. That was the worst time of my entire life...
