If anyone had any worries about umti joining TL you shouldn't. This guy is an absolute smurf when it comes to actually knowing his English and as you can see he is very fluent (basically impact levels fluent). Honestly good signing for liquid. If Apa and yeon can improve (which they absolutely need for this team to be good) then they can become a super solid squad. TL is taking a big gamble with both apa and Yeon so hopefully it pays off.

Umti is an absolute beast in the early game phase, easily single-handedly stomping the best teams in the LCK. We call him the 15-minute world best jungler for a reason. The downside to his nickname is that he's only played with rosters that don't have the drive to power through the mid game, and he kinda goes down with his team after 15 minutes. But his lane phase is phenomenal, he has great mechanics and is a super solid player. I wish him the best in TL.

Welcome Umti! Looking forward to watching you outplay Blaber. Gotta be honest, when I saw an LCK player I assumed that was gonna be the end for APA. But based on the video, maybe APA will still be around. I do worry a little about the depth of APA's champ pool, but now that everybody on the team can speak basic English hopefully he'll be more in sync with the team. Coaching imo also needs to step up next year. MaRin wasn't ready at all, and things stabilized in the second split, but from the outside it looked like there was some suboptimal player management going on there.

Coaching should be a lot better this year with Spawn, hes been coaching TLA for a few years at this point and they were pretty much always top 3-4. APA Staying was already announced if i remember correctly

@@lazerfruit2121 Oh wow I missed the news on the 23rd (burying Spawn's promotion on Food Holiday, really?) The changes with Spawn and Reignover seem absolutely right. Unfortunately the change with Dodo also seems right; he struck me as a good guy who wasn't adding value.

The team will probably communicate in Korean half the time but it'll be nice for APA to have a jungler and a toplaner who can speak fluent English to him throughout the game so he's not out of the loop.
