They're both kinda right about the Lavalval Chain. The rule does say you can't use banned cards & it IS banned but the fact that the entire series locks you into ONE Archetype with MAYBE a few staples makes the rule kinda arbitrary. Maybe archetype specific banned cards are limited to 1?

Yeah, at the very least it should be based on common sense, while it is true that Laval Chain was banned, it was banned three years after its release and mainly because of some unfair combos within the Nekroz archetype, it's not that game changing card per se like one Master Peace, for instance

The difference between a good player and a great player is knowing when and why it’s ok to tweak rules. Saying something is banned just cuz it’s banned is honestly ridiculous. He even took it further and said even if it was a vanilla card it should be banned. That’s some low level grunt mentality. Kinda like “all hail supreme leader, I don’t know why but just do it”. 😅

I remember clearly the day when seereax got the kuriboh deck, that time i just came out of my exersise routine and when i saw deion get the kuribohs, i bursted into laughter since i was too tired to retain it, and even i was feeling sorry that i was laughing and couldn't stop because i was worn out and finally stopped mid duel, maybe the second one

Master duel really makes me mad sometimes. Metting the conditions of the effect doesn't always mean you can activate the effect, and that pisses me off so much. And it's not an issue of timing, because those always work properly. The "If" effects are the ones that make me mad because sometimes you just can't use them for no reason.

Incarnate is unaffected by other card effects. Fog blade does nothing

This effect is not directed at your Incarnate, it is directed at your opponent's monsters.

But can see how what I said woils be taken that way, as originally I viewed the comment as my opponent using it to try and negate

@@kylemorgan5432 No worries, in your context it is actually MORE fun because you didn't do it to yourself to protect Incarnate from attacks while he gets weaker each turn returning an Exodia piece to your hand from the GY, it was your OPPONENT that did it to you thinking it would neg him but then finds out he is unaffected because maybe he didn't read the card and now realizes he CAN'T target him for attacks until he clears his fog blade from the field.

I'm actually on Sam's side in this video, he is right. Graceful Charity and Pot of Greeed are on the staple wheel that monster isn't stated on the wheel price and it states in the rules that you can't play banned monsters. What gets on my nerves is players playing cards like Red eyes Dark Dragoon is every deck when it should only be played in its original decks Dark Magician and Red Eyes 🙄 never the less I love Sam and Seereax duels 😊

Honestly cards that are part of the deck if it's banned or not forbidden cards should be 1 of if it's to that arch type making that legitimate to use bannd cards like redeyes dragoon but in dm deck 1 of
