The Carter Family Fold Festival August 6, 1999
Our clogging group The Old Dominion Cloggers were fortunate enough to be able to perform just before this set. Johnny and June have been a huge inspiration for me as well as countless others. I appreciate what they have done for all of Music and all of the World. I am so very thankful to have had this experience of sitting at the feet of such legends.
To my knowledge this is their last performance together at the Fold.
I have also uploaded our clogging video from earlier that day and their evening performance which includes Mr. Johnny Cash himself.
I hope you all enjoy watching this as I did rewatching it.
The Carter Family Fold is a great place to visit still. I recommend it to anyone that wants to be in good loving company.

This must have been a wonderful weekend. Oh yes, it’s clear why I taught concert etiquette as a band teacher (such as at not talking or walking around during a tune). So glad you made this video and thank you for sharing it with us. You had great seats! June always had such great stage presence! So, do the Carter grandchildren play at the Fold in the summer? Carlene Carter, John Carter Cash or others? I hope to visit someday.

I just watched your video of the Cashes performance at the Carter Fold. So, is there a campground or motel near the Fold? I sure am looking to visiting and hearing a comcert when they open up after the pandemic of 2019-2021 (I sure it ends this year...) Thank you for posting this video, too.
