The traditional way of making a cabinet for holding industrial controls has been to weld together steel plates, drill some holes, then attach rails and doors. That method is giving way to a modular technique that employs quick-assembly panels on a frame that can be reconfigured, if need be, to handle changes in controls and equipment.
