Күн бұрынHow do you rig up an LED bulb so it works on the internet of things? That's the question we try to answer in this teardown of a smart LED bulb and gateway from Osram Sylvania. In a nutshell, it is a tale of two different technologies with the LED bulb power functions built on one board, networking facilities on another. And who knew it takes about an hour of setup to get a light bulb so it talks with your cell phone?

Thanks for the teardown video. The box you show at 5:22 lists this as a soft white 2700k. There is a different version that is tunable white that has a different looking box. Are you sure the bulb torn down in this video is tunable? That would explain the mystery of the color temperature circuitry.

I thought zigbee in the US was 2.4ghz, why do you state it is 915Mhz?

Nooshtube is right, this version isn't color adjustable.

worst smart lights I've bought so far. 6 out of 12 bulbs have stopped working. my guess have had no problem
