Tearlaments have always been a very powerful fusion strategy and that didn't change when we are only allowed to perform fusion summons from the extra deck. So join me in my attempt to fuse to victory!
Yeah, I forgot the Albaz... Silly me... You can see that it even works without him (even though the deck is made with him in mind).

Interesting. I mean I don't have half of what I'd need for a tear deck, but still. I just went with Dragonmaids + Bystial for the fusion branch, and Blackwings for the synchro branch. Blackwings barely ever lose there, when utilized properly. I had like a 75% win rate with them. Dragonmaids were a bit trickyer to make work, as I had to alter my good old Dragonmaid deck a bunch, since it had link monsters in there as well, and a DPE package; which was mostly accessible only due to Verte Anaconda, which is not allowed here. That's where the Bystials came in. I was also thinking about building a Branded deck, but in the end, I ended up with simply slapping 2 super poly and a small Albaz package onto the same Dragonmaid/Bystial deck. At least those are dragons as well, so I can go into all the dragon fusions I want, including Sheou when I use the Bystials as material, or some of the many Branded fusion monsters when I bring out Albaz. Edit: Imagine if you hit the dude who performed the full Stardust retrain combo and the King Calamity lock somehow messed up and forgot to activate King Calamity's effect. A Dark Ruler + Raigeki combo would have destroyed that awesome finely crafted board.

Tears are incredibly fun. Bit of a shame that I forgot Albaz, as it would have made the deck slightly more flexible. Also, if I had all the cards, I would have made some minor changes (more Super Poly's at least). Blackwings can be explosive when left unchecked (which happens more often in events than on ranked). They are quite fun and actually didn't really play them after the Bystials got introduced as it gives them a little more extension. Perhaps I should pick them up again...

@@cognitivegrub0 Well, I had 3 ideas for the synchro part, Blackwings (Which I decided on in the end), Speedroids (Which sadly lose a ton of their lines with no access to Rubberband Shooter, as it's a link monster), and Red Dragon Archfiend (Which I wasn't able to get all the cards for that I wanted as of yet) For fusion, I was really in a bind, as I only had branded despia and heroes as ideas when I first looked at it, and then when I was checking my decks, I realized that I had a Dragnmaid deck from ages ago that could work, as it's also a fusion archetype. Albeit less consistent that branded. Hence why I threw branded and super poly and bystials in there instead of the DPE package. Too bad I have no copies of Branded Fusion, that card would have increased the potential of the deck quite a bit. But Albaz in itself can fuse pretty neatly as well, so I'm good with that. The XYZ side however, I was at a complete loss. I was thinking of many archetypes, but most I tought of also had fusions in them, like Cyber Dragons or Dark Magicians (Big Eye and Ebon Illusion Magician are pretty good, but not good enough); so all I had left as ideas were Utopia, for which I lack a crapton of cards, mostly for the extra deck, and Photon/Cypher Dragon stuff, which I also lack a tonof cards for. But now that I think about it again, if I exclude Infinity and that link 2, cyber dragons are almost fully a fusion archetype. I could have used those too. Or Cyberdarks, with their 5k towers, if I can find that combo line again.

Depends on how many they will release as they just announced new support coming to the OCG (and we've seen those could be added too, just look at Snake-Eyes / Promethean Princess). Seems to be a fun deck, could probably sneak some Master 1's in. Doubt it will make it in tournaments with its first wave though.
