A tougher game like that would be awesome! Would love a LOZ game with a bit more added pressure for the player like this, randomised enemy patterns etc and a Ganondorf that actively hunts Link would be so cool.

I think I figured out the distribution of weapons vs Gloom swords. Enemies that would normally have weapons, like the Zonai enemies, have the normal weapons like bows and sticks. Enemies that don’t have weapons, like Keese, have the Gloom Sword.

19:15 theory: those weren't actually Keese, I think they must be another bat enemy called the Acne! in Zelda 2 on the NES, the enemy Acne are spies of Ganon that shapeshifts into a bat! (something like that)

It would've been simultaneously hilarious and terrifying if the Phantom Ganon's had taken on the size of the enemy they replaced, as well. Small ones for the Bokoblins, giant ones for Queen Gibdo, etc.

Getting the Master Sword early would benefit you a lot, it has infinite durrability when encountering Phantom Ganons (no shit, I busted like 10 or 15 of them without the Sword ever breaking)

Phantom Ganons and gloom spawns are my worst nightmare because in hyrule castle there are 5 phantom ganons and I had to fight them twice but I beat somehow with the master sword also you did something that would be the hardest thing

The reason for the swords is that phantom gannon cannot be without a weapon but if a weapon is already in the original enemy's hand, it cannot swap it.

When your in the Water, Save then Load A Save And It Spawn you To the Closest Land. It Would've been easier On Going to The Temple of Time using this Technique.
