I got the same answer. Solved the way I know how. 340 x .30 = 102 340 - 102 = 238mg

You can also calculate by multiplying 340 * .70

I have sat for TEAS Exams for the 9th time now and still failed, i guess licence isn't meant for people like me 🤦🏼‍♂️💔😢

I’m confused how did you get 102 did you divide the 30% by the 340 mg or what did you do

You multiply 30 x 340mg & then divide by 100. You are left with 102. You then subtract 102 from the 340mg. You are then left with 238mg.

Easier way to solve is take a zero from each number. Times them together. 340 now equals 34. 30 =3. 34x3= 102. 340-102=238

There’s an easier way to solve this. What is 10% of 340. Well that would be 34. What is 34x3, well that equals 102, what is 340-102. Well the answer is 238. Forget about the decimals people. Just take away a zero from each number and then subtract the numbers the whole numbers. Bingo 238!🎉

A calculator will be provided. If you take the online version of the ATI TEAS Exam, a drop-down calculator is built into the exam. If you are taking a paper/pencil exam, a calculator will be provided by the proctor.
