Ok....so first of all I am glad you noticed this Berry. According to me, there is nothing called anti-romantic. Each one of us falls in love at a certain stage of life, and that person becomes our priority. If you truly love someone, then there touch, there talks, there love makes you feel special and you too tries your best to reciprocate that same love to them. So its all just the concept of priority. Eg. if you don't like someone, then obviously you wont like them touching you, you wont express your feelings to them, you will keep your conversation short and all......Here in the story, Tae loves yn, and he showed it to her by his small gestures like hugging her, giving her the space and make her feel comfortable and safe. Now Y/n being childish, she couldn't understand his love language, so he had to take the wild step 😅. And moreover, he also has his cold nature, which pulls him back from expressing his feelings through words. There are many people who cannot express through words, but you can feel there love by there actions. I hope I justified the question.
