I will say I’m so glad to see Trisha become more healthy and happy! I have BPD too and it’s really hard and I always feel so ashamed talking about it but I was in a similar position where I had super toxic best friends who I would defend and go to the ends of the world for only for them to mistreat me and encourage my bad behaviors especially when I felt manic. I would mistreat others in my life or judge others I didn’t know well enough because they would encourage it and it wasn’t until I left that friend group did I start becoming more healthy and managing my BPD, depression and PTSD. It isn’t until you leave those toxic people do you start becoming a better person, making amends with others and especially yourself and finding true happiness. I’m so glad to say I’m now seeing someone in a healthy relationship and have better influences as well as more control over my mental health!
