Sa Mexico parang Pinas, still in colonial mentality system. From Old hollywood to peak of Telenovelas, their main lead is always be a sweet innocent white or hybrid woman. Even if we look at their past queens from 1990s up until to this day. Athisa is sure standout there.

VVV for the (V)5th MUPH (under this org) winner and our country's (V)5th Miss Universe!! I really hope she channels all of her 2021 batchmate's best aspects and give a Tamaryn Green-esque performance which isn't too flashy but is confident and is undeniably standout looking! That said, I really want our VVV to enjoy herself both in prelims and finals because this girl can really grab the title if she PERFORMS. I hope she isn't discouraged for not winning challenges because this girl is THE MOST consistent woman in this roster of candidates. I don't question her Filipino-ness anymore because she is just IT. Also, she looks like a rich Mexican telenovela villainess (IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE!). If she wins (PLEASE CROWN HER) I want her to go the FASHIONABLE villainess heiress route. Constructive criticism: I hope her pasarela just improves, and her QnA becomes more... Impactful. Her tendency to make a show out of her answers is both a boon and a bane and sometimes she comes across as a storyteller which is great but I hope for her answer in the final night to be ICONIC. I also agree that her energy seems to ebb and flow and this is also a spot she could improve on but overall, I think she's still the one to beat. My other choices would be Ahtisa, Christi, and Stacey: For Ahtisa: as a Quezonian it hurts me that she is my second choice but Ahtisa is a really strong candidate and as she is, she can go head to head with every other girl in the subsequent international competition. That said, I unfortunately feel she is akin to our versionof TH's Anntonia Porsild. She's someone who got so much buzz for winning during the Nationals seasons of 2023 upon her crowning but when the International pageant affairs came to pass, she felt so HARD to support because of how curated she came across... I see so much of Anntonia in Ahtisa and I want to see her in her ABSOLUTE BEST and if she goes above and beyond, then she might just win. (Can she please do a Chantal, cheeky QnA answer from 2022? Please?) Stacey is my sentimental fave. But all of what you've said rung true. She's such a force but it'd do her well to turn her QnA skills down a notch and just make her answer... more impactful than descriptive. Her height is not an issue, personally. I can honestly see her standing, looking cute in the top 5 with the tall gurlies but your eyes would be drawn to her because she's SUCH A DOLL. KAKAKILIG YUNG VISION NA YON HAHAHAHAHA XD I just loooove this girl so much~! Christi... Oh dear... She came into this competition so strong but now... she feels so absent and as our beloved Sovereign Davona once said: A Miss Universe is NEVER SUBTLE. She's one of the tallest and most gorgeous girls this batch has to offer but she's doing so little to make us feel this. I want to FEEL Christi. She is also a stylish girlie and she might be our next MMD. BUT I DON'T WANT ANOTHER MMD. I WANT CHRISTI. I WANT A FEMME FATALE WITH CAT-LIKE MOVEMENTS. LASTLY, controversial opinion here but: I want Alexie to try for the MWPH crown. I know you can stone me, BUT AT LEAST HEAR ME OUT FIRST. I think Alexie is what MWPH needs right now because of how in-the-dumps they currently are. They need Alexie's gravity and fans to bring support to the org because it still IS an alpha crown. Plus, the girl could use some experience first and if she isn't destined for MW, then she could go the Catriona route and redirect herself to MUPH once more. But yeah... Alexie would just KILL Miss World. She's sporty, gorgeous, out-of-the-box and eloquent. Besides, I don't think Miss World will crown a blonde queen three times in a row because they might be called out; so what better move is there than to send someone so out of the box and is so different from most MWPH candidates we had sent over the recent years to... I don't know? Win our second Miss World? She's BWAP personified. Kris Tiffany could also do this, because in principle, she is THE FACE of this pageant, honestly. Dark horses IMO: Bulacan, Southern Cal, Australia, Hawaii, Leyte, Palawan, Bantayan Island, Baguio, Laguna, Pampanga. I want Baguio or Zambales for Supra (IDK Tita, if ever kasi I think Ahtisa might decline this if ever ma-designate siya sa Supra kasi she already graced the stage of Miss International na). One of our Ph Int'l community women for Charm to challenge them and make them integrate themselves into our culture more kasi that's what Miss Charm is about. And if di papalarin si VVV for MU, she could be sent to Cosmo or Eco International para man lang mabawi niya lahat ng nagastos niya this year if she doesn't win HAHAHAHA. Pero if not her, any of my dark horses could fill this title din. Overall, this year is finally beginning to feel like the bloodbath it's supposed to feel like from the beginning. I can't wait for tonight's Prelims and the upcoming Finals.

Baguio’s team are somehow problematic too. Ambabata pa kasi talaga and they can’t settle for a stable trainer. Naaawa ako kay Tara kasi of all front runners mukhang siya yung pinaka nahihirapan: left and right at paiba iba ang nagtuturo and it was evident on her interviews. She seem pressured enough to deliver good answers. Kahit casual interview lang like sa PEP episode, halatang pressured siya kaya ginawang Q and A na. Di na niya madetermine kung ano ang media, casual and pageant final interviews 😢

I think Alexie's biggest take away in this edition of MUPh is to not be overly controlled by her hateful team and fans if she joins again. This is one of the countless times I appreciated MMD and Catriona for ALWAYS calling out bullies and negatrons online even if it meant not getting their support, and I hope Alexie does the same. This non-committal picks analysis of Tita Lavinia made me a new subscriber. We're totally on the same page about Ahtisa. Ahtisa did show in her story MUP video that she didn't come from a life of privilege. Ahtisa and Alexie have very similar backstories. Both were raised by their grandmothers. Both have never met their dads. Both sold stuff to make ends meet. Ahtisa's mom married a tricycle driver so her schooling had to be funded first by her grandma and godfather then she started joining pageants to fund her schooling. Through her entrepreneurship, she was able to get her family out of poverty and now she's able to fund her own candidacy. She's also able to fund the schooling of her two younger siblings which she's most proud of after not having a good life in the province growing up. Now, she wants to help the youth to succeed like her through entrepreneurship through Alon Akademie. I got these info about Ahtisa from her videos and answers to interviews plus news articles. Her MEGA magazine bio helps to get to know her better. My dream top 2 is Ahtisa (MUP) and Chelsea (Supra).🙏
