No prob working long hours ( 70 hours) but these companies still pay extremely high salary to their leaders and do not give Equity to other staff. Provide competitive pay and environment to be competitive with the world.

Do an hourly basis payment. Pay a higher rate for overtime. You'll get people working 60-70 hours. But no that's wrong isn't it? There's studies that prove that working longer does not mean higher productivity. World's top companies a lot of times have the most lax work schedules, high incentives and allow work from home. You cannot only look at one side of the story and start passing judgement. It would've made sense for people in leadership and owners to work that much. But why would a salaried employee work longer for no apparent benefits? He does not have any ownership or stake in the company. This is such a dumb take. People work so that they can afford living. Not everyone wants to work just to work. They're forced to.

So people start to work slow to log more hours. The companies you're referring are well establish and they are in developed nation. More importantly they do not have to train employees on job. Yes off course they do not have ownership, but they have surity of getting paid irrespective. Being accountable and doing the work for which you are getting paid is what is expected. I have never seen a person working hard in job getting underpaid.

@@abhijeettrivedi565 what you're describing is exploitation in the name of unemployment. I'm a company owner myself. The only metric here is productivity. My company is a food based one. Cooks are allowed to take breaks and make their meals. They get bonuses. If I need them to work on their day off they get paid for it. The idea that small companies need to be exploitative is wrong. Hire according to your abilities and hire slowly. Hire good people and pay them accordingly rather than churning slaves. Don't take advantage of people's positions.

So it's one of the good eample of good companies.

Americans work very hard but they are compensated for it ..I wish some of our billionaires are more candid about pay structure instead of faffing about working for company and nation. Such thinking will only drive more people out of India ,and do not motivate them.

I don't think we are good at making consumer products, it's not in our blood, take the examples from history of business in India , they all were good in trading raw goods because of countries suitable weather & good port facilities, the goras were took the raw material from us & make the finished products for the consumers , thats how east india company & other Portugese & Dutch companies were making their money, south east asia were always been a sustainable providers of raw goods for European & others, Also the rapid industrialization was going in Europe, that made them good in large scaling manufacturers of goods & finished products
