I've said it before , and I will say it again. You guys need to start a new track for SXS and design it just like the supermoto bike's race on ! Part dirt , part asphalt with jumps ??? You guys are not the only ones that I am trying to get interested in this !!!

That shit is ridiculous how can it be good enough to race in one class and not the other. I mean the shit is either good enough to race or it’s not. Class doesn’t matter not to mention you’ve already been racing in this series. This makes me really look down on the series makes it look like a joke. A snell rated helmet, HANS device, and sfi rated 5 point harness is typically required in all pro level racing. Sucks you all were not aware but there are very good reasons for those rules 🤙🏻

You would think Redbull would post these rules. I 100% agree with all of the safety requirements. It’s stupid to cheap out on that stuff. Yeah it’s expensive but it’s better than seriously getting hurt or killed. Especially in a high speed race in the dunes like that.

I agree with you on that only thing that was discouraging was that I used all the same safety equipment in previous redbull pro races and had no problem passing tech..the sand scramble tech was the same tech at the stone scramble even

@@nickharman1313 I definitely see why that’s discouraging, I would be pissed off also. It really sounds like Redbull needs to be posting rules and regs for everyone to see so you can check things off the list before you make the trip for these events. You would really think they would send out those rules also to previous racers like yourselves. I heard of other people having issues with tech at the sand scramble because they were told they didn’t need a aftermarket cage but when they got there they did. Something with the Pro R I think but not 100% sure. Y’all will make it big in racing just have to keep pushing and find the positives!

@@laurencarlson7477 my best guess is because of the speeds that a “pro” is able to achieve on the track. That’s how a lot of short course racing series are. You could race the amateur class with a stock rzr with a cage and then fire suit. But then to race pro you need metal firewalls, fuel cells, the whole 9 yards. I think Redbull has a lot to learn in getting their rules and regs figured out. It’s a fairly new series so I would expect a lot of change as popularity grows. It sucks that you guys made the trip out there and kinda got screwed because of the lack of rules in place. But other people had to adhere to the same rules so it’s not like it’s a attack on you guys. Y’all will get them in the next race 100% come prepared and dominate!

I've watched you guys race on this channel for a while. I was really surprised yall could race pro or even race at all before! Leave michigan and offroad racing the rules are way different. The gear needs to be a lot better! I'm not surprised this happen. Hate it happened to yall. Blows my mind when I see people racing with stock cages too!

I could see maybe rules change as the events get bigger. Safety is a huge thing with racing but I see why you guys would be upset. Do they not post and rules for what it takes to race each class?

Dot rated you have to have a show rating on the helmets to be ready for DOT

The show rating for DOT should be good enough why was it? Dot has to have a certain shell rating for it to be certified Dot. I had a Class six rating on my helmet for my BMX bike and it was a show rate two below Dot. Why could he use a DOT approved helmet on the last races he had been in but he can't for California Pro Race that's true question

Watching your video and seen your comment on racing is pretty much how much money u have. That is true in most forms Of racing but in ultra 4 it’s not true at all to a certain extent. I took an rs1 and won a championship against some nice machines. U guys would really like ultra 4. Driver , strategy can over come how much money u have in that type of racing

Don't be upset cause YOU and other overlooked your protection gear! It's for your own good! Now u know what DOT And SNELL Means , You should've known this by now! This is stuff u look at when buying a helmet! A cheap helmet or not properly rated helmet could leave u brain dead for rest of your life ! I have a buddy laying in a bed for last 3 yrs over a helmet bump
