STEPS

2. Lift the mower off the ground with a jack and blocks ensuring safety and wheel clearance.
3. Pull the Forward Speed Control all the way back
4. Tilt forward the mower body.
5. On each steering lever, loosed the bottom ESNA nut until only 2-3 threads are showing.
6. The loosen the jam nut on the levers top ball joint.
7. Close the body and ensure the Forward Speed Control is pulled back to the neutral position.
8. Ensure the area is clear of tools and obstructions and safely start the mower engine.
9. With the mower running use a 1/2 socket and turn the steering lever ESNA nut counter-clockwise.
10. The drive tire should begin to slowly start turning forward.
11. Turn the steering lever ESNA nut clockwise counting the number of turns until the tire stops turning.
12. Divide the number of turns in half and turn the ESNA nut counter-clockwise to adjust the steering lever exactly in the middle of the neutral window of the transaxle.
13. Tighten the jam nut on the ball joint
14. Repeat these steps for the second transmission and steering lever.

CHECKING STRAIGHT TRAVEL
1. Reinstall the Walker mowing deck
2. Find a level, straight area to drive your Walker
3. With hands not manipulating the steering levers ensure the Walker travels in a straight line.
5. Check at a couple of various speeds.
6. A cement joint or other painted line is a great point of reference
CORRECTING ISSUES
1. If the Walker pulls to the right at slower speeds this means the left-hand transmission is too fast. Turn the ESNA nut on the left-hand transmission clockwise, slowing down that transmission.
2. If the Walker pulls to the left at slower speeds this means the right-hand transmission is too fast. Turn the ESNA nut on the right-hand transmission clockwise, slowing down that transmission.
3. If the Walker only pulls at full speed different steps are needed.
4. Tilt-open the mower body.
5. If the Walker pulls either direction at full speed, this means the opposite transmission is too fast. Locate the locking nut and set screw on the transmission's top plate to adjust maximum travel speed. Refer to your operator's manual for detailed instructions.
