On the topic of T-Pain and autotune..90% of the industry uses some form of autotune is some way in their music. There are obviously exceptions and the level of autotune use is varied, but its still there. T-Pain is famous because of his use of autotune to create his unique voice, personally i dont think its bad, because thats just his style, he can still sing, and write lyrics. Just my 2 cents, but yea dont hate on autotune when it is so widely accepted, but you are of course entitled to your opinions which i respect. Great song Tech and T-Pain! STRAAAAAANGEEE!!!!

Im trying to figure out what T Pain verse everyone is referring to? T Pain only sung the chorus of the song which Tech N9ne had wrote... So if yall thought that it sucked well Tech wrote it. T Pain can really sing with out auto tone.. But it's just what he is famous for & why people even like to do songs with him. Let's be honest who would listen to a T Pain song wit out auto tone? Im not saying he can't sing but I mean it wouldn't be Pain without the auto tone. Every song I've heard Pain rap on or sing on he has delivered. Tech put him in this song for a reason.. He clearly thought & knew no one could have done it better. Which is what I think. Idk it's a lot of people not liking Pain on this track but I love it & im sure Tech knows & knew what he was doing. lerp85 Tech has not been on many black peoples radar because of his style and performance art. It’s well known that black people hold on to Christianity and anything that looks like it might even leak something dark they turn their backs on. I have been into tech since 01-02 and I’m a black woman from New Orleans. Tech has talked a lot about his integrated, sometimes troubling religious history. I understand completely.. I was forced into abject Christianity by way of Catholicism, southern baptist, and Mormonism. I found God directly after I left all of that alone and lean towards west African traditions like voodoo since that is what our ancestors believed and it helped them feel connected to god and their ancestors. Tech frightened the blacks who hold on to those religious doctrines. However tech is one of those gems that needs to be celebrated as a black businessman who went his own route and found success in identifying as himself and not allowing anyone to compromise him. Tech is on your favorite rappers top 5 list for sure.
