At a concert in abq about 10 years ago Tech put a chair in the middle of the stage and the lights turned red.....and he just sat in the chair and rapped this whole shit. All 3 verses. Everyone just shut up and listened lol. Still one of the best moments of any concert ive ever been to. Never forget that shit🔥💯

I always thought he was talking about the fans wanting him to come more gangster, talk about more gangster shit ect, but after No Popcorn and Tech's interview he did recently, I think he's talking to the label, and about the industry. Hes talking about how the labels he signed with wanted him to be more gangsta, to help sell this gang life to the youth, and Tech told them no and went his own way, made his own path. I really like tech 9. Whats funny is I discovered him because of CES CRU who I like a lot as well. Its interesting that tech 9 made CES CRU famous but it also works in reverse to some extent. Anyway that being said. I do agree with the people he is talking about int his video. He isn't gangsta by no definition of the word. He is a lyrical genius, he is an accomplished entrepreneur, and if he isn't liing he may be a ladies man. None of that makes him gangster though. A gangsta is someone who strikes actually fear in peoples hearts. Who lives a rough, possible impoverished, (or at least started impoverished) and almost militaristic life but still manages to thrive. A person who lives very much outside of the law but always manages to stay one step ahead of his enemies, rivals and the police. These are the traits of a gangter. None of these traits describe tech 9. I can see why people might get a little angry about tech pretending to be something he is not.
