I provide two possible solutions for you on how to fix the iTunes Install error "system has not been modified*.
HOW TO REVEAL HIDDEN FILES ON WINDOWS 7:
1. Select the Start button, then select Control Panel - Appearance and Personalization.
2. Select Folder Options, then select the View tab.
3. Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then select OK.

Hey man. Look, I tried this several times and nothing’s worked, it keeps showing the “rolling back action” whilst installing iTunes64 and then I get the usual “your system has not been modified..” I think I should also make it clear that I have the IPhone SE and I’m downloading the version compatible with the SE, which is the 12.1.1 version of iTunes... Any advice?

Is this applicable on windows 8? I'm having a hard time to install itunes on my laptop. When i open itunes "api-ms-win-crt-runtime 1-1-0.dll" will pop out. Please help me to solve this problem. Thank you!

it says another installation is in progress and then it doesn't download it 4:15. Microsoft store doesn't work because my pc won't update for some reason

Thank you. All I did was your first part: Joyce ... Downloads .... Go to itunes 64 set up .... Right clicked, and checked on run as administrator ... and followed the instructions. I Unchecked itunes as default player, and then it all downloaded normally. :) You are an excellent teacher. I tried several other folk's posts on this subject and was lost.

Hi, please- what do you mean, paste it onto your local drive at 3:52? I don't have an itunes folder either. Do i create one? Thanks.

It's only so you know where all the files are when you copy and paste everything over. For ease of use you can just create a folder on the desktop (right click on your desktop. Go down to New and click on folder. Name it iTunes or something and then just paste everything over to that folder you created. :)

I got the problem installing. did exactly as you demo'ed and with exception of the software update file would not install, it went sweet as a nut. now have iTunes 12.8. great video tutorial Thank you

that was awesome and I saved it just in case. now it didn't work for me!!! because iTunes is in the download file, but it did not create a file in c: files and not in any of the program files. what else can I do

whenever i try to use the installer using administrator or not, it says “This installation cannot directly upgrade the version of iPod software found in this computer. Please uninstall the iPod software and try again.”

I dont have the IXP 102 .tmp but I keep getting one or more users have installed itunes. I have searched my entire computer every drive I have and can not find a itunes to uninstall.

Make sure you have left the previous installation window open and make sure you have the installation files showing as shown at 2:54 if you do then just open similar looking folders to check where the actual files are. It's always best to pause a instructional video at certain points if you get behind in the instructions, that's what i have to do sometimes. :)

It doesn’t show me the AppleApplicationSupport64, only the mobile device64 And even after all the steps you said, it said some user still has it installed and gave the error again.

Thank you for this video! Surprisingly, the first option worked for me; 'running as administrator'. I fully expected to have to go through the various other options available from an array of different people. I guess I was lucky this time?! I'm hoping that luck will continue when it needs updates or when I connect my devices O.O In any case, thank you for giving that first option at all! A thumbs up from me.

First try disabling any anti-virus you have installed, if it doesnt work still then re-enable it again and follow the following steps: 1. Click Start, type "Local Security Policy" (without quotes) and press enter. 2. Click on Software Restriction Policies. 3. In the right pane, double click on the "enforcement". 4. Select “All users except local administrators”. 5. Click OK and restart the computer and check if the issue is fixed.

Could be a good possibility you already have a version installed on your computer. Go into Start - Control Panel - Programs & Features and look for anything Apple related in the programs list if you find something just uninstall it and try the whole procedure in the video again, it should then work for you.
