Thank you so much for doing this. I am currently using the canon g7x and I totally feel you about the constant tapping to focus in. I also have so many accessories/ extra batteries for the g7x, so I wanted to stay within but maybe I will upgrade🙈

Yes, same boat! So many extra batteries/accessories for the G7x, it really made me reconsider switching. The G7x mkII and mkIII are still great cameras, though... so if you need an upgrade, you can't go wrong with those! Plus, yay for still being able to use all the same accessories 😆

great review! I currently use the m50 but I agree that it’s too big to vlog with. I was thinking of getting the g7x but I’m definitely getting the white zv1 now 🤍

I just got this camera for my everyday quick vlogging! lol. love it so far!!! i have videos on this camera on my channel too! i found the perfect settings to make it not so zoomed in while vlogging face front!

Is there a difference between the white and black other then the color?

No different in features or video quality. Minor difference in the texture of the grips, but that's it.

Why do u think so many youtubers use the canon g7x instead of this zv1 any reasons you think why?

The color science on canon cameras is great! Easy to use, familiar setup, great image stabilization out of the box... and probably the hype.

I feel like it's also because people have bought their cameras a while ago and don't see the need to change? I personally like to buy something and use it until it breaks. I personally picked the ZV-1 over the G7X, because I prefer the colours, but if I already owned the G7X, I probably wouldn't have upgraded.
