The Nitto is not an AT it's and RT the same as the Toyo RT Trail.

Hey there, thanks for mentioning that. While it is a hybrid tire (between the AT & MT). Most tire shops classify it as an all-terrain so we wanted to stay consistent even though it may be closer to a rugged all-terrain. Cheers.

The Nitto tire you are talking about is a Hybrid tire, not a all terrain. Yes it’s built on a A/T frame, but it is a hybrid tire. That’s why the balance extremely well and very quiet on the road for as aggressive the tread is.

Awesome video Walt as always. When we talked about my 4Runner build I mentioned that I was a Bf-Goodrich guy and you had to talk me into the Toyo's but looking at the differences you discussed in this video I can see even better why you recommended the Toyo's. So thanks again for the informative video and I CANNOT WAIT for you to start my build!!!

Hey thanks man! You're very welcome and I'm trying to put together more informative videos like this to hopefully shed some light on a bunch of common questions. I'm looking forward to getting started on your rig and we're definitely getting closer. Just trying to chip away at these builds as fast as possible without letting the quality of work suffer.

A lot of valuable info in 1 straight go. Love your guys work and content. 33” Falken Wildpeaks here 🙋🏼‍♂️ first time going mud terrain but they are surprisingly quiet and softer compound compared to my last Nitto’s Terra grappler (A/T). Being load range C helps a lot but I know I’ll miss the security and luxury of an E rated tire at times.

6:56 Super Swamper Boggers were notorious for smacking the ground and being noisy. You could tell the trucks running Swampers from 2 blocks away.

I have the Toyo R/T Trail on my 3500 and I love them. They are the best tire I have had on my truck.

@@TAVLLCI truly like them and I wouldn’t put anything else on my truck after having them. If you have a diesel truck, just remember you can drop the air pressure down to 60 psi or even 40 psi to help get better traction on ice and heavy snow it works really well. And I also have a E rated 10 ply tire.
