Is there aperture control? Like making the background more out of focus. I don't mean the blur that you showed, but how you can get background blurinesa from a dslr camera when you use it as a webcam?

There is no aperture control - it is fixed at its maximum

Not bad for a built in mic! But that was also the case with the previous tiny 4k. Image wise, the tiny 2 is a huge improvement. I'm impressed. But I'm still very satisfied with the Tiny 4K I have, got it with a big discount

Hi there, my laptop doesnt have a C port, does this come with an adapter? also the software is that something you download prior to plugging the camera in or is there like a build in software download that the camera provides so you can mess with settings?

You can download the software from Obsbot's official website. I don't remember seeing an adapter.

Would this work sitting at the base of the monitor rather than on top or would the angle required be overly step and look distorted? I find it a really great cam but having it on top of my monitor would look weird

Not sure about this. Better check with Onsbot's support. I know they have a special dongle for live streaming.

Will this camera track little diecast hot wheels for a racing channel? Also can you mount it upside down so the camera is hanging above the track or will it not do that? Also can you run two cameras at the same time to catch multiple camera angles?

I doubt it will track wheels. Better check some of the smartphone gimbals with AI tracking such as Insta360 flow

I'm trying to decide if I want this camera. My only concerns are 1. I have a PC tower that I use for streaming video games that uses USB ports. Would that cause any issues? 2. The mic on the camera. Would I be able to turn that off? 3. I hope for live streaming it wouldn't freeze my picture by any means. I do use logitech cameras and I'm really needing to upgrade.

Sounds like this will be a good upgrade. 1. I haven't had any USB issues 2. You can disable the mic 3. I didn't test any live streaming functions, but used it for some podcasts and it was stable

Yes. I know an actress that uses the first generation for such purposes. Gen 2 is a lot better, of course.

I haven't tried vMix, but you can control it via the app. As for USB transfer - 4K footage is usually around 100Mbps in this format, so there's more than enough bandwidth.

It's not a relative term, you can compare it cost to average web-cams on the market and figure out whether it's expensive or not. Additionally, we know the average salaries of people and 200-300$ is a big sum of money for most folks out there. You can add your "successful and rich male" comment to your tinder profile instead of showing off here.

Exactly. If you really want it, then you’ll find a way to get it. Buy it used, make monthly payments, or simply wait a few months for the price to go down whether that be because of a new generation or a holiday sale. If you can afford to buy it brand new then that’s great also. @Metalblowing’s comment is ridiculous. You seem like an impulsive consumer who doesn’t respect the time/effort that goes into making quality products. How about providing a comparable and more affordable alternative (if you think there is one)than acting like a child talking about somebody’s Tinder profile.
