They have to be Fabric mods, however you can use a mod called "Optifabric" which will allow you to run Optifine with Fabric mods. Optifabric: www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/optifabric

Not sure if you can use Sodium and Optifine together as they may conflict with one another, but it might be worth a try anyway. However if you’re looking for the best performance, Sodium will always give you more fps.

fps reducing? I don't understand why you'd want to reduce your fps. If you install Optifabric & Optifine, you can also install any Fabric mod you'd like.

I have a problem with sodium, sodium is using default settings, but i can't see any blocks, they are literally invisible, on other hand mobs and particles are visible, any solution to fix?

now I have downloaded it and all and it's working but my monitor is a 165Hz monitor and I can tell that if I play it, the game gets capped at 60Hz but the game's frames say it's way more than that (above 400 at times). Can you help me with that please? to say it in better words: if I play the game in fullscreen mode, it caps my monitor to 60Hz.

Ive tried using sodium in a modpack. I have everythign set up the same way, but i have the programs in the mods folder in the modpack. But still, sodium wont work. Fabric api is installed, sodium is on 1.20.1 (the modpacks version) any ideas on what i might have done wrong?

Fabric API does not need to be installed, unless you are using other mods which depend on it.

I believe Modrinth is safe, it's the reason why Sodium moved exclusively to Modrinth due to the CurseForge situation. Not sure about Spigot though.

I'm not too sure what you're asking. Downloading Sodium for different versions of Minecraft is the same process regardless of your Minecraft version number. Just make sure your mods and Fabric version matches your Minecraft version number too.
