My LG AC failed in 2 years; upon checking the service guy said PCB is corrupted and needs replacement. I have a Carrier, its 10 years old and still runs like charm, no repair yet. A bluestart AC that is running for more than 5 years with no repair until now. And this inverter AC which I thought is way ahead, failed ahead of others.

The PCB of my carrier inverter AC stopped working after 11 years... I have spent rs 8000 including repairing fees and service charge... Even after that e5 error code had been showing..the service person told me to spend another rs 2500 fo repair the PCB... Now I had to buy a new non inverter AC replacing the carrier inverter AC spending rs 35000...that means rs 35000+8000,......

Hi brother.. I too bought LG 1.5 ton 5 star dual inverter AC. It has been 9 months. Smoke came from outdoor unit. I called CC. Service engineer came and checked, confirmed that PCB has burnt. Even though product is under warranty, they asked me to pay 6000 for new PCB. They said that smoke or burning of PCB not comes under warranty. I requested service engineer to reduce the price because it is in warranty. He strongly said that it falls under physical damage and warranty will not come. I called customer care again and explained the things happened. They also said same thing to pay the amount. How can they say PCB burn comes under physical damage. I didn't do any physical damage, I didn't do any alterations. With lot of arguments I eneded up paying 6k. Please don't buy LG air conditioner.

Those mentioning there is 5 year PCB warranty, kindly note this is offer as of now. Earlier there was 1 year product and 10 year compressor warranty and no extra PCB warranty . So was in this case

They also have terms and conditions attached to it, recently I bought the ac from them, the dealer told me you can get it fixed by any person.. So I called a serviceman and he had just opened the ac,and I called lg for registering of my warranty...they said if you even get the ac opened from any other person the warranty on pcb is void...so now I am in the process of trying to get the warranty

@@tarunsharma5254 @@tarunsharma5254 they said this on the phone when they started asking details..it is given somewhere in there warranty offer also,but no-one would focus on it..These LG people are thieves,they will make every effort to not give you the warranty so be cautious and be dominant on them on the phone.. The LG serviceman who came later was honest and told me the same that the company is trying to fool you and not give the warranty..he said he will do it and said don't tell them much on the call and simply say that the box was closed, to handle the situation easily so that's what he did and got the guarantee.. So I will advise you not to go into this headache and not open or touch the box at all and directly call the companies serviceman to open the box and install it..so they have no excuses at all

Thanks for sharing, I can feel the pain. I had experienced the similar case with Apple laptop. After 14 months only motherboard got damaged with no reason and they asked to get it replaced by paying 40k. I had purchased the same laptop in 75k. Now it's been 8 years I didn't fix and it's just scrap for me. Then afterI never purchased Apple products and I am never going to buy Apple products in future too. #shameLG #shameApple

I have worked in LG company as a trainee and I observed that pcb is not made properly and quality is not good . But they fix it temporarily to dispatch. I suggest people to think before buying any product of LG. For long period LG products won't last..

Voltage stabiliser is required for any inverter AC. I am using LG 1 Ton Dual Inverter AC from last 2.9 years with stabiliser and without any problem..

@@bhushantheannihilator.7866 I am from Hyderabad and over here they said the cost of the PCB would be 6,000 INR + 650 INR service charges. But as it turns out, the PCB wasn't dead. The problem was with the wiring. When they installed the new motherboard, it was still giving the same error. So then they checked the wires and found out that there was a problem with the wire that connects the outdoor unit to the indoor unit. They cut the wires and reconnected them and the AC started working again. They had the new PCB installed so I asked them to try the old one which they said was dead. It still worked. I would have wasted 6,000 rupees for nothing. Truly pathetic service!

Basically problem is that every company is playing cheap tactics , i know that lg pcb gone too fast , but the main issue is that company says that stablizer free , but that's not that the game , actually if due to any reason electricity fluctuate's then it will directly impact the pcb , that's why retailers always recommend to buy stablizer with it , and main problem lg ac's are too worse , their cooling capacity are too low. Why you pickup we don't know. And From 31st july production of non-inverter ac is banned in india. Means from 2022 onwards only inverter ac will manufacture.

In normal split hiwall ac we use single phase compressors but in inverter modes the compressor work on three phase power think how much pcb has to work to make it work at above 40* temp

For LG AC or any inverter AC, use good quality stabilizers, so ur PCB will not hurt anyhow. Remember agar apke area me ek saal me electricity fluctuations 50 times se jyada hua hai to kisi bhi AC ka PCB kharab hota hai. Lekin abhi 2021 ke bad LG 5 yr PCB warrenty de raha hai

Yes bro, you are 100% right...!!! My AC got CH05 ERROR in perfectly 1year 1day..and it ran out of warranty!!!!! And I had to pay Rs8650 for the new PCB...with a warranty of 90days...!! Once again perfectly on 92nd day it again got the CH05 ERROR...!!!! . Bro I little lost my patience over then and just threw away the indoor unit from 7th floor of my apartment....!!! . SOOO DISGRACE PRODUCT FROM LG ...

I too have faced the same fate with my 1 ton Inverter AC. After 1.5 years, the PCB of the exterior unit has gone phut. The technician has quoted Rs. 8000 for the new PCB. The warranty period of the new replaced PCB is not known. LG is probably giving 5 years warranty to PCB if an AC is purchased after Jan, 2021 but the customer care center is not clear about the warranty period of the replaced PCB. It is really shocking that the LG company is unable to clear the doubt unambiguously about the warranty period of replaced PCB.

Best ACs are with reciprocating compressors and heavy duty copper coils. Just service them regularly, and chances of repair is very less. Power consumption is also low as they cool fast and then cut off.

Kindly Note That Lg Inverter Ac Has 5 Years PCB warranty and full unit have 1 year warranty 10 years compressor warranty and now the upcoming models has new features Why The PCB repairs because of voltage fluctuations For This Option Use The Stablizer options if you..have fluctuation problem....since I am using Lg ac 8 years nothing happens maintaining it properly have do not makes any problems...❤😊

मैंने अपने बेडरूम में lg का ड्यूल इन्वर्टर ac 12 apr2017 को लगवाया था। लगभग 1 महीने बाद error कोड आया और कस्टमर केअर कंप्लेंट करने पर उनका एग्जीक्यूटिव आकर कहा कि इसकी पीसीबी उड़ गयी आपको पीसीबी चेंज करवानी होगी कीमत 7 से 8 हज़ार होगी। मैने कहा अभी तो 1 महीना हुआ है और वारण्टी लाइव है उसने कहा आपने स्टेबलाइजर नही लगवाया और वोल्टेज flatuation से ऐसा हुआ है इसलिए आपको पेमेंट देकर रिपेयर करवाना होगा। मैंने कहा जब आपकी कंपनी स्टेबलाइजर फ्री आपरेशन क्लेम करती है तो हम स्टेबलाइजर क्यो लगवाए वरना जब 45000 का ac लगवाया ही तो 3000 का स्टेबलाइजर भी लगवा सकते है। तब उन्होंने एग्री किया और फ्री ऑफ कॉस्ट पीसीबी चेंज करवा के दी। फिर हमने स्टेबलाइजर भी लगवा लिया उसके बाद अभी तक कोई प्रॉब्लम नही आई।

I bought 1.5T dual inverter model last year for parents room. They only use mostly at night time. In a year pcb got damaged 3rd times. 2 times replaced as was under warranty. The reason they gave was high voltage fluctuations. Then got best available automatuc voltage stabilizer. 3rd time it got damaged again within 25 days of replacing pcb. Now what's the reason. .? ICs not able to sustain minimal fluctuations?

LG hi nahi sabhi brands jo inverter AC bana rahe hain sabka yahi haal hai me Havells ka ac lekar phas chuki hun mene bhi 31000 ka ac liya tha lekin usme 3 times meri gas refill ho chuki sirf 2 saal mai or saath mai ac ki 2 baar coils change hui hain costumer care waale call uthate hain lekin technician nahi aate jab waranty khatam ho jaati hai tab wo log aate hain kabhi senior technician visit nahi karte or junior waale ac ki band baja dete hain

Absolutely Correct. I am also suffering by purchasing LG 1.5 ton Dual invertor AC. Indoor condenser unit and PCB are in total loss in just 1yr and 9months. which costs around *12,500/-. (around 32% cost of purchase price). You can either choose LG AC or MENTAL PEACE. WROST DURABILITY EVER. @LG

The same thing happened with my 2 ton LG Ac in the first year. The mechanic told me if there was a stabilizer attached it wouldn't happened he explained the PCB gets failed with improper power supply of voltage the inbuilt stabilizer has a very limited range so I got 110-300 v guard stabilizer installed and now it is running smoothly for a very long time.

I bought LG 1T AC with 5 yrs warranty on PCB, after the capacitor on the PCB of my Panasonic AC fried after 7 yrs, they quoted me 17K !!!

I'm a A.C technician. As per my Experience in repairing field. Low cost me Voltas (Tata Brand) accha he. Mid range me Daikin lelo. High end brand me Mitsubishi / O General is best. All the A.C Brand I've recommend is for non-inverter. Don't buy Inverter A.C. inverter A.C's life is maximum 3-4 years.

Hi, I am also facing the same issue. Exactly after 1 year my LG dual inverter AC is not cooling the room as like earlier. It is 1.2 years old. Past 10 days not feeling good cooling. I set 18 degree in the remote after 5 hours room temp was 23 only. I called LG service they visited and checked then said everything is ok. Don't know what to do. There is no error message in my AC. Please share what you did?

Bhai I am from Pakistan and I have been using Haier 1.5 tin AC for five years and there is no even minor problem in it and it has built in stabilizer and can also work hundred percent on 120 voltage it has a wide voltage range of 120-260

Guaranteed Loose connection issue that's why pcb got burnt. Replace the power supply board & inspect wiring. LOCKDOWN MADE ALL THE WARRANTIES FAILURE EVERYWHERE EXCEPT SOME KIND COMPANIES LIKE MOTO,VIVO... LG DUAL INVERTER AC IS THE BEST AC.

Bhai, Same issue in Daikin AC. My Daikin AC outdoor PCB become faulty. And they asked Rs. 8500. U2 error code in Daikin Inverter AC.

In my home ... Whirlpool 1 ton 2010 model.. Hitachi 1.5ton 2015 model. Voltas 1ton 5star invater 2017 model. Whirlpool .8ton 2019 model...... cooling wise Hitachi is 1st, voltas and whirlpool is same in cooling.. anough cooling.....but Hitachi ka PCB kharap huya tha 1k bar...non invater model hay...uska cost 1100 tha....bt avi thak....voltas and whirlpool ac achi chal raha hay...

Har Ac me wifi system hota h. Kahi se bhi bethe bethe pcb ko kharab kar sakte h. Pcb ke program ko dead kar sakte h office se hi. To kyu lete ho wifi bala Ac.

Bro ur PCB got defective as there may be issues of frequent voltage fluctuations in ur area and it is always recommended that despite the AC brands claiming Stabilizer free operation but it is always recommended to install a additional Voltage Stabilizer for ur AC which protects ur PCB no matter if ur AC has stabilizer free operation.. and moreover LG provides 5 year Warranty on its PCB's and I am using multiple LG Inverter split AC's at my home and office and I have fitted each AC with a Voltage Stabilizer and by far all my LG AC's are woking just fine without any glitches.. I have always used LG split AC's and the oldest one being 19 years old and it's still working excellent. So in my opinion just a bad experience of urs doesn't mean this Brand is bad..

U can use V-Guard VND 400 model voltage stabilizer. This is the same one I am using for my Split Non- Inverter as well as multiple Split Inverter Air Conditioner's

@@mrammu7433 go for an LG dual inverter. I am using 4 dual inverter AC's and they are working splendid.. i have been using LG AC's for the last 20 years never faced any issue.. just buy a stabilizer along with ur AC if there is more fluctuation in ur area.

i faced same problem with sanyo 1.5 ton inverter AC. after just 2 year, its outer pcb went bad. and cost 8000 Rs.. Imaginge spending Rs. 8000 after two years just to replace their bad quality outdoor PCB.. They should be punished to produce such bad quality PCB, that they are designed to go bad by 2 years..and force customers to pay again..

Bhai tumhara toh , 1 saal main pcb udd gaya , mera toh 1 mahine ke amdar hi udd gaya tha , mera 1.5 ton ac hai q18hnza model no. But thank hod under warranty cover ho gaya tha , par 8 din ka samay laga naya pcb install karne ke liye .
