Samsung did it for the their high end phones but stopped because of the low sales. They had the rugged line they called active. There was the Active S6, S7, and s8. Samsung still makes a rugged smarthone but its not advertised much and I doubt people will know about it unless you try and research it; Samsung introduced Galaxy XCover FieldPro.

Too bad Chinese rugged phones usually have problems after a few months of using. Even after 1 week of using I saw the phone gets broken (software issue).

@@Aiast97 In general, that’s the case for most budget to mid-range Chinese smartphones. They are cheaper for a reason. That’s one of the reasons I stayed away from Chinese smartphones.

IIIF150 is a Chinese phone brand that makes Rugged phones that are surprisingly good. IIIF150 comes from Hong Kong China and IIIF150 is owned by another Chinese smartphone brand called "Oukitel".

This phone is great. If I lived in the US, I would buy a new one. But here in Brazil, our currency is devalued, so this phone may cost more than the minimum wage here. Or if I try to buy it via China, the Brazilian state will charge a lot of taxes to allow it to pass through our border, making it not worth it.

Mainly I just want a phone with good battery life. I work doordash so my work phone is normally at anywhere from 10 to 30 percent at 3:00 p.m. depending on how busy the day is. A thermal camera or a night vision camera is never something I would have said I needed but you know what I need that now. Do I have a use for it? Absolutely not and I will find one.

the software captures the photofield in the higher resolution. software compensates the difference in resolution when it feeds the phone's display. the selection of resolution only applies to the information sent to the memory. the software can do anything with that information. the programers enable their software any which way they want.

This is really interesting, but you can't seem to get a clear list of specs on their website, which seems like a red flag. For e.g. dies the camera have zoom? How long will software updates be supported? Weight? How thick is it? Warrantee? Etc. Why is this info not readily available? Maybe I'm just missing something. Where is a full description of specs to be found?

@@pixelgaming7261 Actually, I found a couple of pages that list some specs, and they say digital zoom, but give no other details... Couldn't find anything about software updates, warrantee, etc... Did find out that the phone weighs about a pound. Very heavy....

It would be difficult to carry around and use, but it is very appealing 8n other ways. I just wish there was a comprehensive description of it out there. Like, connectivity, audio quality, photo quality, etc. I wonder if there's even a phone case available for a phone that size. I would t count on a phone that heavy not getting damaged if dropped...

Sounds like a great phone for those who are outdoors a lot and might be away from a charger and might be exposed to the envirnoment more. Some of those movies where people get trapped in the desert, mountains, or whatever outdoors senario would love to carry this phone. Since I don't do those kind of trips I am happy with the phones I own now.

Got this phone a month ago, you should mention how terrible the speaker is instead of loud, even tho its not loud, its extremely terrible and annoying, same quality as on 10$ phone or even lowest. On the other side its solid and looks good.

I'm pretty sure they will... But it's the charging rubber you should worrying, because if the rubber is broken, water will get inside the charging area.

Mein Smartphon habe ich jetzt ein paar Monate 🤔 seit Samstag spinnt das Teil 😱 Das Mikrofon funktioniert nicht mehr richtig 😱 kann nicht mehr mit anderen telefonieren 😱 Am Anfang geht es noch 🤔 nach ein paar Sekunden fängt es an das Gespräch zu zerhacken bis gar nicht s mehr geht 😱😱 Hat jemand eine Idee woran das liegen könnte 🤔

It's pretty cool all in all, but the Helio G99 can't actually support 200mp cameras, only 108mp ones. Other than that It's awesome.

Hint: I don't like it when a manufacturer tries to fool it's customers and this phone with a 200mp camera can't actually take 200mp pictures. I never said the phone wasn't good, because I think it is but that camera just wasn't a good choice for it, or the chipset wasn't the best choice, not sure I'm leaning towards the camera.

well its has 24gb of ram (im pretty sure you can only use 12 because of the system is using the other half) and it has 120hz, 120frames per second. i dont know anything about graphics cards but judging by how good all the other things are i would assume it has a good memory card.

The downside of a rugged phone is weight which counts against the screen when you drop it. I used a lot of rugged phones and their screens were broken with just one drop and I own the Samsung A52s now for 2years I've dropped it countless times but it is still going with few scratches.
