I’ve recently tried this setup right after I lost my main fingerboard set up, and I genuinely am still surprised on how amazing they perform!!! Despite having to get used to the different shape and the more aggressive concave, I could almost do the exact same tricks as I would with my previous set up. Really just goes to show that Fingerboarding can be inexpensive!

If you want to move on to a better fingerboard i would recommend lc fingerboards because the wheels spin forever, its affordable, and it comes with foam griptape.

I still have mine, the old decks are a lot smaller than these modern ones with almost zero shape and concave. They are so much harder to control as result, they are better to look at than to actually try to fingerboard with. lol

Tip for filing the grip, file down and forward almost diagonally and use a bit of pressure and it will cut better.🤙

If you you don't want to buy new bushings I found out if you just take out the washer to the bottom truck it turns pretty well. Not perfect but it is free

Yo! An alternative to bearing wheels is taking the metal washers from certain decks and putting them in front of the wheels

Bro actually, instead of spending so much on other bushings, you can make ur own. On my tech deck, I kept one of the washers at the bottom and removed the one at the top. Then I got a rubber band that was wide. I cut a square and poked a hole in it with a needle. Then I cut it to size. These bushings are actually super good and super responsive, probably comparable to those weirdass "competitive" bushings

Here’s a tip when you applied the grip tape don’t guess where the holes are flip the deck over and puncture holes from that side

2 main upgrade you should get is the foam grip and bearing wheels. Then if you have the money trucks and decks!

bruh the tech deck i have has plastic wheels with plastic trucks and the trucks are one piece. there's no bushings, also it is only attached to the board with one screw :/

Bro my first fingerboard was 5€ and it was made out of plastic (like everything on the board was plastic). Now I bought a Tech Deck for 10€ and i was thinking that now i had a pro fingerboard 💀💀
