Better tip Right click on your screen View Then click on view desktop icon

When you delete it, it goes to your recycle bin. So might as well transfer that file from recycle bin to another file group in library

all you have to do is go to files, click on desktop, and then just move the file/item you want to remove from your desktop screen without deleting is. EX: drag a file from desktop to downloads and it removes it from your desktop screen.
