20 Google Assistant Apps You Did Not Know About!

In an earlier video, I showed you several tricks and commands that you can use with Google Assistant. Many are not aware that Google Assistant also has 3rd party created apps, which they used to call services. While many of them are useful, some were created just for fun. Most of these apps will work on almost any device where you have Google Assistant installed including an Android or iOS phone, Android TV, Google Home and Chromebook. In this video, I will show you 20 apps that you can use with Google Assistant.

Agreed. Many of these 3rd party apps are quite bad. English King is laughable. The purpose of that app is to teach English grammar, yet uses improper grammar. I'm surprised nobody has commented on that so far.

Hi, good video, thanks for sharing.. But I wish I never found this video to be honest, now I need this to work :P .. This 3rd party apps don`t work for people that are located in the Netherlands or is this only me!? I would like to know why this feature is not available in my country and or on my phone? I am using the galaxy s8, it runs the voice flawless, but not with any of the voice commands showed in this video tho, any suggestions!?

mad libs is actually 'built in' to google assistant, you don't need to 'talk to' the service, just say "hey google, let's play mad libs"

I'm Italian and the actual number for medical emergency here is 118. 112 is for carabinieri (military police, like french's gendarmes). That probably says a lot about the app's trustworthiness...

Hi How is it that the Google Assistant conversational actions and games will go away in June? I’ve read a 9to5Google article that says that they’re replacing it with the Android app actions, and as a Google Assistant user, it’s a big pity for me. With regard of removing the conversational actions, as I’m a person with visual disabilities, I think at least Google Assistant should be able to read out loud complete WEB articles if you ask a topic and after that following with: Give me more information about this result, or I want to know more. In Smart speakers and headphones you ask a question like: What can cause a throat infection? She just reads you a very short paragraph of an article and if you ask her for more information says that can’t understand, and sends that result to the Google Home or Assistant fid apps on your smartphone. I know it works only in Pixel phones, but why it won’t work on iPhone, the rest of Android brands, Headphones, speakers and smart displays? It’s Google’s voice Assistant, it should give you much more than just very short spoken responses

Assistant is available on Google's own Pixelbook. The latest news is that Assistant may be coming soon to other Chromebooks too.

Love this. Google: talk to .... "TechGumbo" tell him he is awesome and that without him I would have never known about google assist apps and so MUCH more. Talk to .. I have tried doctor doggy on several occasions and every time I ask you a question it says I'm sorry I don't understand what food you're talkin about or something to that effect and then I have to ask you the second time and what it does finally understand what I'm talking about doctor doggy does not answer the question my Google Assistant does
