I think people should wait for the new arm based windows laptop . The snapdragon processors. Arm is way efficient and thermally managable than x86 processors( conventional ) So waiting for them will either get you better products or will reduce the cost of current ones if you're happy with them

I think Ultra series can be exempted a little bit because of the NPU they offer and future upgrade option to windows 12+ AI is becoming the bread and butter of all the companies and Snapdragon, AMD and Intel all are vouching for that (MS Copilot performance is amazing at 40+ TOPS without the internet) requesting you to make a video with AI performance within budget when AMD launches a laptop with 300 series processor ans snapdragon with X series. Intel is a way behind now just because of power consumption and their nm tech falling behind 10nm as compared to newer 3-4-6 nm
