Hey Linus, which version in terms of ram+internal drive do you use in the review video? I've read in various review sites that the 3GB ram feels a little bit choppy, like seen on your video, does that only apply to the launcher? or does the similar case also apply to apps like scrolling through apps, or multitasking? Do you think it's software issue? or the 3GB ram just not enough to handle all the operation?

I'm currently using a zte 6" (I believe it's the "Z-MAX 2") that only has like 1.5 GB ram which is why I believe it's starting to have problems. Also it seems the zte phablet's I've had always go crazy & quit working around a year old. I'm looking at this s2 model due to the 4gb ram & 64gb rom. You mentioned spending a little more for a better phone... Is the better option you speak of at least 4gb ram? I believe the higher ram will improve my experience & any problems Im having while watching KZfaq & shopping online. Thanks.

Ziyaad Mahomed thanks! This is what Xiaomi does for some reason. Fast charging simply does not work even though it is supported by the chipset

TechLineHD aah I see. May I ask what's the requirements in a phone for fast charging? I'm sure the fact that the chipset supports it cannot be the only requirement. Surely battery safety has got to do something with it as well which is maybe why Xiaomi has disabled it.

It has to do a lot with thermal management. It is more expensive to make a phone with a well thought out layout that dissipates the heat from the battery, processor and other components. Fast charging makes the battery and other components hot. I believe this is the main argument why Xiaomi disables fast charging. I hope you understood my explanation :D

After using the iPhone SE for 2 years, I finally sent it to services to get a replacement battery. I bought this phone and it's amazing. I'm not really crazy for gaming or selfie, so I had not notice any bad lags. My only problem is how it cannot charge while I use Waze.

s2 had better front camera with 16mp while 5 plus only has 5mp front cam. both have snapdragon 625. there is also a 4+64gb variation of the s2. only advantage is that the 5 plus has bigger battery.

I would buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 if only it had microSD dedicated slot like this has that is why I should buy this instead of Redmi Note 5 which of course is better but has has a hybrid slot
