How many Tech Marines per company, usually?

To answer the question usually only 1 tech marine is permanently attached to a company. Usually as many, as are needed are brought along with the strike group. It depends on the chapter, how closely they follow the codex, and how large the vehicle supply of the chapter. In a codex compliment chapter, there is 1 for every company, 1 for every fortress monastery, and 1 for every fleet group at least. Then in the reserve companies (6,7,8,9) there is an extra tech marine to train battle-brothers in the maintenance and operation of vehicles. (11 companies because of guilliman returning) At minimum there are 17 tech marines in an active chapter, but because tech marines don’t count as battle-brothers for the 1,100 marine total, there are usually closer to 60 to maintain chapter relics, vehicles, power armor manufacturing and restoration, and provide aid in dealing with mechanicum assets and resupply.

@@anonymousguy720i was about to say that 1 combat engenire per 100 soilders, seemd very very low 💀 oh theres 10 tanks? Just kill the one guy who fixes them all, boom now the company cant get tech support. Like bruh i expected atleast like 1 per 10 marines

NORMAL CODEX COMPLIANT CHAPTERS HAVE 1-2 TECH MARINES PER SQUAD NOT COMPANY...AS THE ENTIRE COMPANY OF 100 BROTHERS NORMALLY DO NOT ALL DEPLOY TOGETHER AND ARE BROKEN DOWN INTO SMALLER BATTLE SQUADS OF 5-10 MARINES. GRIMALDUS HAD HIS, THE SWORD OF BAAL HAD THEIRS, ETC. HOWEVER... THE IRON HANDS HAVE LIKE AN ENTIRE COMPANY OF THESE BUGGERS!!😂😂😂😂

The clan company, crusade organization, as well as the blood angels successors do not comply with with the codex astardes to a T. If you want to blame Guiliman or bad writing, you can but this is what the codex astardes says.

You didn’t mention that the training take decades, each one of them go on a full on Middle School, High School, Diploma, Master’s Degree and PhD courses
