Nalini Devi Women’s College of Teacher Education (NDWCTE), Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with the Council for Educational Administration and Management (CEAM), succesafully organised a National Seminar titled “Envisioning Teacher Education with Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP): Possibilities and Challenges”. This seminar provided a great opportunity for a rich exchange of ideas, insights, and innovative strategies for advancing teacher education in India.
TECHNICAL SESSIONS: A BLEND OF OFFLINE AND ONLINE LEARNING
In Technical Session-I (Offline), Chaired by Prof. Maheswar Panda, Retd. Prof. & Principal, College of Teacher Education, Balasore, Odisha, and Dr. Parasuram Raisingh, Retd. Reader in Education, NDWCTE, Bhubaneswar, and the Special Addresses by Dr Nimmi Maria Oommen, Faculty Member, Titus II Teachers College, Tiruvalla(General Secretary, CEAM), and Dr Aerum Khan, Associate Professor, Dept. of TT & NFE (IASE), Faculty of Education, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, led an engaging offline session. Ms Aishwarya Swain, Asst. Professor (TE) in Zoology, NDWCTE compered this session, while, Dr Rupam Priya, Asst. Professor (TE) in English, NDWCTE, proposed the Vote of Thanks to the Experts wholeheartedly. The Technical Session-II (Online) from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm featured expert address Dr. Pooja Walia. Concurrently, Parallel Session-I (Online), chaired by Sr. (Dr) Dorothy and Dr. Sojia John from CEAM ran seamlessly.
Later, Technical Session-III (Online), from 3:45 pm - 4:30 pm, chaired by Prof. (Dr) Bobby Mahanta, and Parallel Session-II (Online), chaired by Dr. Marin Jose from CEAM, continued to foster vibrant academic discussions.
**VALEDICTORY SESSION **
The seminar concluded with heartfelt reflections from delegates and participants. Dr. Snigdha Das delivered an inspiring valedictory address, followed by words of appreciation from Dr. M.S. Geetha. Dr Sagnika Dash, Asst. Professor (TE) in Botany expressed gratitude, bringing the event to a close with National Anthem.
