This is called proper spparing, Had my first sparring today it was supposed to be technical but mf was profesional light wieght he showed no mercy , trust me full power hook to the chin is all it took and i got scared and qestioned myself and wanted to quit , Man it felt horrible , Got black bruises on all up my face, jaw is hurting prerrt bad,Got humbled , but finished 3 rounds

Yeah, it shouldn't be like that. sounds crazy but I'm 73kg and I spar with 100kg they naturally go light on me because I'm super light compared to them i go hard on them though hahah....works for some people and known your team.

Same shit happen to me my first time but I made it out and landed some good shots , some gyms wanna scare people away instead of helping, it’s super weird
@Mellow2xx6 ай бұрын
I hope you didn’t quit though , if you made it out that’s sign to keep going

@@Mellow2xx its s huge turn off just like gyms trying to lock you with a contract without allowing one training session or at least to watch one session, like im giving you my time,my body and possibly my future for you to prepare and train me it aint just cause of the 150 a month so i have to evaluate if you are good enough trainer for me to waste my time and energy for your knowledge

No but still great training for reactions, distance and looking for openings. Still get good cardio out of this too. Save the hard sparring and braincells until leading up to a fight.

You are not that mf🤓

@@dugegg instead of hard sparring spar pulling punches or don’t close your fists, people have to understand everytime you put gloves on it’s not to swing like an idiot sometimes you gotta learn
