Thank you sir. I lost my phone. I flashed message. Phone got locked. That person who switched off immediately, changed his mind and returned after one month. When i had lost all hope. Once the phone is lost, the thief can easily switch it off and we can't track it. Why don't mobile companies allow us to set password to switch off mobile phones.ln this way as noone can open our phone without passwords, noone will be able to switch the phone off without password either.

Sir one doubt, if the phone is *not* connected to any network, how it can be *erased* or locked from any *remote place*

It will be locked automatically when it is connected to network dont know about android cuz people will reset it to factory setting by safe mode before using it but it work with iphone if it has icloud u cant activate it if it has icloud account .

Thank you so much for this detail. I lost my mobile today and was going to report this in police station but did not know IMEI number but after watching this video i get the way to retrieve IMEI number and reported this issue. Hope I found my mobile phone.
