I completely agree. It’s been 14 years and I haven’t done a single topup in my Honda city. It is still very effective and I only change cabin filter every year

Sir my sujjession is When vehicle owner going pouring the water ac condencer. Plz before use pressure air. Available in open market worth 600rs airgun. It's useful to interior dust cleaning, and house also. If you are going water service centre first air wash to condencer and radiator. After water wash with low pressure/or long range. High pressure water force is damaged air codencer. Fan speed don't full. always maintain medium or low. And clean ac filter frequently. If necessary to top uo plz use tin gas (like coco cola tins) once open the tin mechonics can't store or donot use other vehicle. And vecleres plz note don't go overspeed, if radiator overheating automatically effect with ac. And city drive plz maintan minimum distance to front vehicle. Don't go closer. And check engine oil, coolant quality also. Thankyou sir,

This trick works a lot ....I kept one bottle of coldrink and one seperate cap with small hole on it and spray water on condenser whenever needed this improves cooling specially in summer where sometimes we feel that cooling is not sufficient...after this car become chilled like refrigerator

Thank for sharing valuable tips for car AC. I remembered local service guy suggested me before start a car AC in hot summer try to put some water on AC condenser. I tried and cooling increase by 30-50%

You are correct. I also noticed whenever i wash my car with a preassure washer after rinsing the front and after cleaning the condenser with water the clooing effect increases. But only prob is the effect is for a very short period. Once the water dries up the cooling is back to normal.

I am using this technical since few years. Mainly on long route in the afternoon time it gets too hot. I stop the vehicle. Have some snacks and then splash water on condenser. Also throw some water on bonet as well.

By doing this you are rapidly bringing the temp of the condenser down so cooling increases That's it. But it will not last and when atmospheric hot air starts hitting while driving things will be back where they were.

Bhai ac ki service karwa Li ,phir lickage bhi check ki , condenser aur radiator ko bhi service kar va liya ,car coolant change n full car service bhi karva Li and sun protection film bhi lagwa Li sab jagah including windshield phir bhi pta nhi chal rha tha ki cooling kyu nhi horhi baadme pta chala ki gaadi ka colour black hai isliye din me cooling aise lagti hai jaise cooler chalu ho but after 3-4pm ke baad jaise jaise dhuup kam hoti hai cooling chilled hoti hai ..... conclusion is black effects ac ...n meri car 14 -15 saal purani bhi hai wo bhi ek reason hai but colour se fark padta hai ..

As suggested, if cooling comes down while driving in summer and spray water in between, as radiator is hot does it not damage the fins sue to thermal shock.

How often radiator has to be clean with fan on in AC mode? Recently I got only the radiator cleaned with water jet. I have noticed improvement in cooling. Should I clean the radiator again with fan on in AC mode?

yes, it happens that the coil is not cleaned. I have checked and experienced that cleaning the chocked filter and coil makes a huge difference. Must get the coil cleaned every year

this tecnique applies in standstill car but not works in running car in hot summer.bucket le ke bonnet pe kaun baithega.replace compressor rotary seal if u wont find leakage in static conditionand fill adequate gas.

For any air conditioner if you bring down the condenser temperature by any external means, say by spraying water on it continously, it will definitely increase the inside cooling... that's for sure...

sir nice over view of a/C for car , my point is that compressor seal behind clutch is always leaking a tiny bit ( theoretically no leaks) ,which may require a bit of top up especially in the beginning of summer.

Can use water with pipe if yes with pressure or without pressure

Freon is also lost its cooling capacity when running in high temperature due to condensor fan failure. And that freon gas converted into air.

How long it will be cool after water pouring.?? My service mechanic told AC cooler to be changed. In tata car entire machine dismantled to change the coil. Huge amount and time took. Of course it worked.

Used it many times in my trips .. but sir Mene ek chiz puchni thi apse meri nexon 2019 bs 4 petrol which has done 68k kms .. usme kuch time se cam sensor malfunction ka error aa raha hai .. service centre walo ne dono sensors ko position change kia aur check light remove kr dia .. phir 3-4k kms baad phir check light aa gayi phir sc walo ne kaha don’t worry serious nahi hai aap 75k kms wali service per change kra lena Aur gaadi performance me koi farak bhi nahi hai na miss fire na lag Aap btaiye kya kia jaaye sir ?
