great comparison vid, first one of yours that I've watched and completely agree... having had (and lost!) an X6Pro and now having an M6Pro, the X6P was blisteringly fast and Hyper OS was very polished... in comparison to M6P which feels like it struggles a bit with multi-tasking... but I think this may be partly down to MIUI 14 and not just due lower powered chip set. Both great phones, but for roughly 50% more cost the X6P is the one to go for if you can afford it, but the M6P will definitely make you happy as long as you don't mind waiting for the OTA Hyper OS upgrade whenever it comes 👍

I haven't used hyper os so I can't comment on that. But MIUI is very smooth and it's really hard to tell the difference between flagships and midrange phones but i think the xiaomi 14 is considerably smoother than any other phones from what I've seen online. Hope this helped💗

Hi there Nick, have you tried the Poco F5 Pro? I'm trying to decide on which to get with consideration only basically on video on the main camera. I don't care about the other lenses or other performance, but rather just main camera lens video capabilities ie. sharper video quality and low light video performance. Alternatively is there other phone in the same price range that you feel would deliver better main camera video capabilities only? With no consideration for other aspects of the phone such as speed, screen or processor. Thank you in advance

@@giusoriano I dropped my F1 a few times since I was last here,so had to buy a new blower,I bought the OnePlus ace 3 from Ali express,it has the oxygen Os flashed over color Os and works perfectly,now the OnePlus 12r is the same phone rebranded for Europe and the states, so the 12r cost 700 euro for 16gb ram 256 storage I got the ace 3 for 386 euro with 12 GB ram and 256 storage plus ufs is faster 4.0 just a little less ram,but you can use ram extension if needed, hope this helps for anyone needing an upgrade

I think the M6 pro is the best for regular users, X6 pro is focusing on more power mostly for gamers imo. I just wish the M6 had a little bit better cameras.

UK?? I just bought from AliExpress, they've an anniversary sale that started at midnight last night and the X6 Pro just came in at "£259" for the 8gb256, upon checkout it dropped to £187 so I've jumped on it. It's the first time I've bought a phone from AliExpress but on the Hot UK deals thread people say there's nothing to worry about, just potential customs fees that might be around £25. It's showing today as shipped but apparently can take a while for delivery (even though cheap stuff is usually here in a week)

My son chose the M6 Pro & we've pre-ordered the purple one for him (currently not released until 24th Jan here in the UK). Lack of 5G isn't an issue as 5G coverage is still minimal here, even though he's moving from a Mi 11 Lite 5G I doubt he'll notice the difference (he's about to start college) just hoping the Helio chipset will be good enough for him.

Thank you for this comparison! The Poco X6 Pro is really a flagship killer, a bit like what OnePlus was when it launched. The average consumer would be more than happy with any of these phones, especially at this price point. What's the catch here? It is remarkable that these phones have such great differences between the cameras, while using similar hardware from the same manufacturer.

Completely agree with your final thoughts. Why do there have to be these compromises? The X6 Pro has the best chipset, but not the best protection. It also lacks the headphone jack and expandable storage. The M6 Pro is the weakest but does have a headphone jack and expandable storage, and arguably the best design. The X6 is weaker than the X6 Pro, but has sturdier protection and a headphone jack (but no expandable storage). Why not mix these phones into one, making it have the crazy Dimensity 8300 Ultra, Gorilla Glass Victus, 5100 mAh battery, headphone jack, SD card slot, newest software and premium design? Distributing good specs across 3 different phones launched all at once doesn't make any sense to me, massively wasted potential

I have the X3 Pro and it has been a great phone :) I ordered it in 2021 and now the headphone jack is starting to fail. I ordered the X6 but they're not sold locally so had to import it. I sot the standard trhis time though purely because of the headphone jack

Almost complete comparison but It's a pity that you don't mentioned anything about the proximity sensor, a very important spec for a smartphone. I know that x6 pro has a virtual sensor, but the others? Please insert this feature details in all your future comparisons to be the best!

4G/5G in UK makes no difference, none of the masts in the UK can even supply you with maximum 4g speeds let alone 5G speeds. I have had 4G and 5G phones and tested then and get almost identical speeds at various place around the country .@@Dammy1998

For a long run, yes but it's a bit overpowered. If you prefer to take many photos/videos then maybe yes 🤔 but at the end of the day, the choice is yours

As an SD card user, 5th and 6th gen poco X has had me disappointed as the X3 Pro (with the snapdragon 860) and X4 Pro had everything plus SD card slot. Alas now that my X3 pro is starting to show it's age i sadly either have to get a tablet with expandable storage like the Lenovo legion or compromise with an M6 Pro (and save more money)
