Hi. ;D. PDX 2000 MK1 version , more torque, worse pitch resolution (0.07), better Platter reaction, worse break (this can be tweaked but is not as good as the 1200s), W&F 0.03 - 0.05 (the manual is wrong), Ultrapitch is THE BEST (if you wanna scratch), good enough isolation (its plastic, but the tonearm is very well isolated (gummy stuff)), bad Feets (easily upgradeable), Tonearm DONT SKIP, but not as good sounding as a 1200. PDX has all the features for a scratch dj, for a mix dj go for the tech (always). For a mix / Scratch dj ill prefer the vestax. The motor can break (position sensor and the bipolar magnetic sensors), that can be fixed, also there is no pitch replacement (a normal mono linefader can be put in there (easy to doo)). The 1200 tend to have no problems overall, easy to fix. I wander between turntables, and the vestax pdx 3000MK2 are better than all stuff, the 3000 are also good. So, it depends of what you like. The vestax 3000 are for me the best of both worlds (i find it better than the reloops 8k,7k). The problem is that there arent too much available. there are more corners here, but hope that helps :D. I still got my vestax all this years since the first one the PDT 5000 to the PDX A1s vestax to my A2s vestax straight arm I still got them in my closet n still got my technic since 89 still working all those years n my technic mk 5 n mk 2 n my gold limited edition technic gold but I still using vestax on 2024

I played on the Vestax and back than prefered it over my Technics 1200mk2's. It feels better but the Technics is ofcourse not much less.I wish to buy a set some day

There are many turntables with the same super Oem motor as Vestax

vestax develop their own motor, other super oem turntables are based on the Hanpin DJ-5500 (pioneer plx1000, stanton st150, reloop rp7000) and work great but the weight difference is a lot (almost the double in some cases)

The 2000 had a taller platter which caused the middle V spindle to bend slightly and get bad platter wobble. Vestax fixed this by lowering the platter and using one similar to the Technics. This eliminated the wobble and also had less vibrations, flutter etc. I do miss my MK2s!
