Learning Watercolour Techniques from Edward Seago
In the movie I said I going to use 5 pigments, but what everyone have with a palette full of Paint, you just go for convenient, and dip in every colour you need. 😆
This said, the Alizarin was only used for the distant hills.

Thank you. I do have background music sometimes. But soft. In quiet passages. But don't look at very old movies from me. I just listen to music while painting. I didn't care much who is viewing. I just did want to see myself paint. (Learn process)

Hiya Edo, I use Maimeri Blu watercolour paint too and I love them, particularly so many single pigments. Thanks very much for a great tutorial, I'm in England and just subscribed.

Thank you Edo, wonderful as always. Love the sky. Skies and trees I just can’t get the hang of painting them
@EdoHannema-Watercolour-Art
@EdoHannema-Watercolour-Art Жыл бұрын
For the trees the paper texture is very helpful. And for trees you have to load your brush up with enough pigment and water. You have to practise a lot to know this is it! And skies are the opposite, very diluted washes, not to much pigment. only when the paper is wet you come in back with a stiffer mixture. But I practise skies like this since 1992.

Awesome Maestro. I like Edward Seago too. It’s almost impossible to figure out how he painted. The other three I also like a lot are James Fletcher-Watson, Edward Wesson, and Aubrey Phillips.

Thanks Eric, great compliment. although it is really a Seago sky what Seago makes. I cannot blame him. He didn't have the Maimeri Pigments and Princeton Brushes! 😄😄 Otherwise he could make his skies better! 😉

Thank you Edo for this video. Very kind of you and very generous to show us Edward Seago’s techniques. When you make another video, it would be great if we can see your palette and how wet is your brush when you mix the colours. Thank you again. I love your tutorials. ❤

My palette is way too big to show next to my painting. the painting would be to small to follow. I could use a smaller palette. but my table is at a angle of 15 degrees, so that is another problem. I could buy another camera to pixelate my movements on my palette. But this is a free of payment demo, it is a bit to valuable to buy something extra just to show me mixing colours. I tell what I mix, for a painter that should be enough. Showing how wet a brush is, that is something impossible. one time it is wetter than other times. I am afraid you have learn to that yourself.
