Hi Yan! First, thanks for your videos, I'm a bit stucked in trying to decide between Digitakt and Digitone. I would use both of them for making techno (maybe the DT for hip hop too due to it's sampling capabilities) but what I really want with this purchase is to create my own textured, techno sounds since i'm a bit tired of mouse working with the Vsts but still feel comfortable drum programming, sampling (for hip hop) and fininshing projects in the computer. As far as I know, DT is also good for sound desing (not sure if I could really create decent sounds from samples) and has other features that interest me too (maybe sequencing external gear in the future, what I already mentioned about sampling... and also I like a lot the sample playback for jamming) So there is the big question: go for the Digitone for sound desing which is what I really need or surrender to the Digitakt which I think it is a more complete and fun device? Please consider I already own ableton, decent studio monitors, mixer and soundcard. Also I would appreciate it if you can recommend similar gear for the first external device (doesn't bother me being attached to the computer, but I'd like to get a bit rid of it ), I've looked into Maschine mk3 and Push 2 which would quit a lot of mouse/keyboard work even they still rely on the computer. I'm aware those are much more complete and capable devices but don't know why Elektron's gear looks very interesting to me and more after watching your videos (still don't want to discard Maschine and Push, I'm really undecided) So what would you do in my place? Thanks a lot in advance and sorry for the long coment!

You should do a review on all of your equipment when it comes to pads, synths and so on! I would love to get a pad or something but don’t know what pad to get. Pads are great for live mixing right? As you do in this video?

love how u just flexing that minimalistic style of making music. i also got the mpd but i dont know how i could play a sample loop on a single padas u do. if anybody can give me some advice or a link i would be very gratefull

Looks like he's not triggering samples but arming channels of the digitone. You might be able to assign the midi cc messages of the mpd to what's needed to control parameters of the digitone. The last pages of the manual give you the whole midi cc numbers ....
