What an adorable and humble tech review. No flashy animations, annoying sound effects, or fluff. Just straight to the point. Just a few simple jump cuts and gentle background music and ambient chicken sounds. Wonderful. I would not mind at all if KZfaq transformed into what it once was 18 years ago.

Grabbed one for a back up one day. Took 10 mins and wiped all the bloatware and small tweak.. I only needed it for calls when I need it.

Gotta love it when phones start installing junk on them in the middle of using them lol.

Using a Nokia C110 right now because my main phone broke recently, but I'm not that much of a gamer when it comes to phones and I don't really put phones through much stress. For what I use it for, I absolutely love this phone and have zero complaints. I use the stock camera for filming videos indoors and outdoors and it looks fine enough for me. The only issue I have with this cell phone is that it sometimes can lag with too many things open, and sometimes apps take a little too long to load. But then again, who the hell cares for $30? I'd gladly buy another one of these when this one dies and keep it around as a filming phone.

Great video, it's surprising what you can get for $30 nowadays. Obviously it's not going to compare to a mid range or flagship phone, but it seems ok for a backup phone or for like a child's first phone. Side note: you have a very calming voice haha

My dad bought one of these a few months ago, worked well until he got sick of the slow waiting times because it is only 4G. He upgraded to an A30.

This is not only good unlocking for worldwide use, but also excellent making videos, including fan-made family friendly KZfaq movies.

Thank you for this video, I wish to point out 2 things 1. Yes this phone does have gestures, but you went to the wrong spot, they are located in Settings > System > Gestures > System navigation > Gesture navigation 2. Android Auto does not work on this phone because of the version of Android, this phone runs 'Android Go Edition' which is a stripped back version of Android for low-end phones, and sadly Android Auto is one of the features they removed. Lastly that bloatware might of been able to turn off during the setup of the phone, one of the screens during the setup most likely said 'Review additional apps' and you may be able to turn off the install of them bloatware apps there (I had to do the same with the Lenovo tablet I recently bought).

Some Androids love installing bloatware junk. Samsung also does it sometimes after setting up your device, begging you to death to install smth like TikTok or Wish. Even with higher-end phones. (Speaking from experience) Also, Welcome back!

That thing with the preinstalling apps (Temu 🤮🤮) is bad enough on a budget phone... Imagine my horror when I first put my Verizon sim in my beautiful, unlocked, Note 20 Ultra and it began installing bloatware. Besides that crap with the apps this looks like a pretty good phone, especially for 30usd

While the phone's probably worth $30 the Strait Talk basic plan with data is also $30 for 30 days, over twice what some other services are charging for roughly the same minutes and data.

It does have face unlock as I used the c-110 before you have to go into the security settings though

Although the video was published months ago, I think that the inability to use Android Auto was caused by NOT having Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on. (Wired Android Auto is something else that could have been tried in the video.) If the phone was unlocked at purchase time, I'd have bought it for a foreign trip, where I could have used my foreign sim in this phone, and left my good US phone in a safe place.

Man these phones have gotten so cheap, and a Nokia?? Crazy! HMG global owns the Nokia brand, that's why they are on this phone :)

I see it came with Android 12. Don't know if it will get Android 13 or 14. It does not have NFC for contactless pay. But it has FM Radio which many Android phones don't have. Remember this a low end phone

The chicken noses make it better! Farm life is popular right now and you should capitalize on that. Show the chickens in a video and have them in the background sometimes and your videos will get more attention. Be the guy who does phone videos with chickens in the background. ROOSTER CROWS ARE COOL!

It's hard to shit on a phone that cost less than $30 and the cherry on top it came with full fat android and not go edition and besides the dodgy pre paid part about it doesn't seem too bad in a pinch or as a back up.

It's the first time I've ever seen a phone installing apps by itself. None of my devices have ever done that without permission.

Gesture navigation is on Android since Android 10 so it should have it, is just that brands change the name and where they put the option to activate it kinda anoying tbh.

Nokia should put Android Go Edition instead of regular Android because the SoC is Helio P22 and doesn't have Cortex A7x tf with Nokia

That auto installing apps feels like you don't own that phone and having a privacy. Not recommended for a daily driver, I will definitely use this for a back up phone for my old sims and other casual apps.

I have the c300 it also has 3gigs the ram management is so bad on these phones..I has used 2gig moto phones that ran smother than this.
