Awesome video. Living in Houston, we get frequent torrential storms and many street flooding as a result. Nice to see you guys test the Cybertruck in high waist deep water. Can’t wait to get the Cybertruck. As a general rule, if you can’t see the curb then turn around. Many many people have lost their lives driving into high water.

Huge tip from a somewhat experienced driver here, when going through a puddle, you wanna drive as slowly and as carefully as possible, that way things don't break, and water doesn't get in places that it's not meant to reach.
@JetFire93 ай бұрын
Huge tip is never ever drive in high water. It’s bad for every single vehicle. Making it across, is the same as surviving a massive dose of radiation - you will definitely have problems later. 😂😂😂

But its part of manufacturer's spec though. The mode says it all : "Wade Mode". Cybertruck has been built to traverse through deep water. It should be ok
@mikldude93763 ай бұрын
claims are nearly always different to actual capabilities 😅, already after the test he is having electrical malfunctions. One thing about water, is that often water gets in places you do not want it too , and sometimes that water takes days or even weeks to seep into other areas which cause many problems later. I might add , drivingfast through water is more or less like high pressurehosing everynook and cranny exposed to water and splash , and that can be a disaster.@@rova3308

The rust that everyone is talking about is caused by iron particles that are all over due to brake disk wear from all the vehicles on the road along with iron particles kicked out by train wheels. You don't notice it on painted vehicles, and it is easily removed using various cleaners. It's just particulate iron sitting on the surface of the SS body panels, it is NOT the actual SS that is rusting. Tesla Bear FUD that makes for great negative/clickbait articles/youtube vids about Cybertruck.

@conor71543 ай бұрын
You can tell by the way he speaks…
@elijah_93923 ай бұрын
He may have the best job for taxes. Since anything he uses for a KZfaq video (his primary form on income) can be written off as a work expense. This truck? Company truck. Home office? Company office. iPhone? Work phone. The US tax code would then exempt income used to purchase those from taxation. So if he made $100K, but spent $50K on stuff in his videos, then he only pays taxes on the other $50K. This is significant as the US has a progressive tax structure. For exmaple, $100K might be taxed at 20%. And $50K might be taxed at 10%. By writing off $50K, he only has to pay 10% of the other half, which would be $5K. Juxtapose that with 20% of $100K. You see now how he is able to purchase whatever he wants and save a lot of money.

People literally abusing a car to see what would happen. That’s madness

@@ngqabuthodube2068 What's even more madness is a $100k+ truck and the accelerator pedal can get lodged down. Probably one of the worst & most dangerous vehicle design oversights I have ever seen.

CyberTruck can also 'wade' into bullets up to the windows. Great feature for election year.

That's very impressive and now I see why the truck had its weird design, which is to push and keep water away from the side.
