I printed the top mount parts in Orange PETG for strength, with the rear supports in Orange PLA. Only real concern I had was that the top cable routing clips made the exit from the first AMS spool very tight indeed and the AMS was having trouble feeding the filament from slot 1, so I ended up removing the guide for 1 & 2. Didn’t get the jet engine kit myself, my A1 came with the Tourbillion kit which looks awesome!

Hey man, CATIAV5FTW here, hope to see your build of the jet engine! I'm working on some design improvements to eliminate some supports, but the current design is still great. Btw, Bambu told me the initial production run A1 units will come with either the jet engine or tourbillon kit.

I printed one as well, I did put a few wraps of duct tape around the latch though. Better safe than sorry.

@AdamsTechReviews, can you detail which screw sizes you used from that screw kit you bought in the assembly of the mount, and perhaps where they were used? Thanks

Hello to all who put their AMS on top oft he A1. Do you have any issue with it? I'm a bit afraid that the metal part on the top of the A1 will bend under the AMS weight with the time. Thanks

Could you measure the total height of the printer with the ams on top. Let say, to the top of the spool and to the top of the tubes ? Would be great, thanks.

So just wondering how it's holding up? Idk if you left your machines idle over the heatbed thing or not. Mine never turned off and very seldom sit idle for more than an hour. I'm finally getting around to top mounting and was hoping long term it held up. I still need to put together my turbine kit. Got the marble run done though!

Hello and thank you for your video, I printed the ams lite adapter myself, but before putting it in I was wondering if you noticed any twists or anything else on the X bar, do you think it is strong enough? Or could this position possibly damage something else? thank you ....

i printed the same on top file with the z axis supports as well. the rear supports creak and squeak terribly while printing, has anyone had issue with this as well and if so any solutions/ thanks
