Punch if you want SUVish Car, high seat position, Ground Clearence, good suspension soaking up road bumps easily. Also Tata cars 5 Star rated . Only reason to go for Baleno are --- Punchy engine, reliable engine, Silent engine, more mileage , more space ......, ...

I took test drive of both AMT , for sure Baleno AMT is almost 20-25% better than Punch. Less Lag and More Power Delivery in each gear.

After 5-10 years your Tata will be somewhere in garage for permanent and the maruti will run forever even the body rots . Don't compare rotten Tata to legend maruti. Only compare Tata to Mahindra but don't compare to any other car company since Tata doesn't deserve to be compared to other companies other then Mahindra.

@@eats.and.travels while you are on the road, you cant always be sure that there wont be any accident, especially when you are travelling with family members with kids too... even if there is a collision, you will understand the importance of built quality. you are right, you cannot compare Giant TATA to crappy cars like Maruti/Nexa.. especially Baleno LOL. tharts a papad, dont even try

Just make a strong frame for safety doesn't mean car got everything. Tata had a good scope for improvements. Baleno well ahead in balanced engine and good features. Feel so luxurious while sitting inside top end Baleno. Both premiums are approximately of same price.

Tata cannot only rely on build quality ! Not in India Atleast. Indians want some features in low price. A person buying vehicle first time wants mileage too. Thats why Maruti has the biggest network because of the biggest customer family. Tata has a long way to go in cosmetics !

When it comes to safety... Always remember strong metal saves you when you meet the accident, but better equipment, control and body design helps preventing an accident... So it's not only about NCAP. Also run a stability test body roll test etc... Every long length hatchback is always better than small SUVs in these aspects... Shorter wheelbases are good for hatchbacks not compromised SUVs or "So called SUV". Don't be emotionally biased while buying or judging a vehicle... I can say Altroz is safer than Baleno but definitely not Punch...

I bought Punch a year ago, mileage and service centers have disappointed me. I think no other car in the segment can do better when there are bad roads. On the other hand Baleno is way smoother than punch on good roads.

You're wrong about tall ppl fitting inside Punch... - I'm 6'5" height and I couldn't even sit in the driving seat inside Punch... Punch looks big only from outside... It is a very small car inside... In Altroz, I was able to sit after a bit of struggle... But my left leg is tight fit between steering and gear rod... - Coming to Baleno, I was able to sit very easily... It looks small from outside, but it is very spacious car... Baleno was relatively more silent as well... Punch was noisy... - And Punch interior felt like sitting inside Nano... It didn't feel premium in any way... Baleno is miles ahead of Punch when it comes to interiors...

It is not Tata Punch problem, it's your height that is a problem.Punch is an excellent car for below 6 feet people.

I think punch is a bifferent sgement than baleno...Baleno is PREMIUM HATCHBACK whether Punch is A Micro SUV. Punch is designed to give you the feel of a suv so its engine noise is acceptable (i never felt any super loud noise). And If you feel sitting inside punch = sitting inside nano, then u have a major problem with you 😂😂 Punch Creative interior is one of the best in class. does NOT feel cheap.

Tata cars 🚗 are safe cars 🚗 I've seen many maruti swift and others being totally destroyed and passengers passed away on the spot but never seen like that with tata cars 🚗 we can choose the model segment wise in terms of pricing neverthless tata cars 🚗 are safe by each value.

@@rkvrakav Always accidents don't happen by your fault. Many times other vehicles also smashes into your car and at that point no feature comes into picture, only build quality does. Also in India, we see what peopeles are doing with ADAS. It is god grace that Suzuki has not given ADAS, otherwise it is moving coffin.

Everyday tata punch is the best car, any situation, there is no comparison between punch or baleno. Kabhi leh tour par le jao phir pata chal jayega konsi better hain. Punch is a perfect suv car, it is not an urban suv.
